OVERVIEW:

An integral part of the Hair.com Content Team, the Manager of Social Media and Influencer Relations, works hand-in-hand with the Site and Editorial Senior Manager and external agency and vendors, as well as the Hair.com Commerce team and all PPD brands to help deliver actionable social content that drives upper funnel awareness and community growth.

They will oversee the execution of social media strategy across existing social channels and help to lead test and learns on emerging platforms—and ensure that strategies meet current best practice standards for each channel.

They will establish and execute professional and consumer influencer relationships and partnerships to benefit overall Hair.com awareness and sales KPIS.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all brand-related social media content for content and commerceand the overall social media strategy; create and manage all content working with digital agencies, video production houses, photographers, writers, and internal departments
  • Measure social media growth and engagement using analytics tools (i.e. Social Bakers, Netbase, Traackr)
  • Explore partnership opportunities with social media content creators, magazines, publishing houses, personalities, blogs, etc.
  • Manage social content development calendar across all brands, ensuring messaging is consistent with marketing objectives; work with agencies to coordinate, format and implement all assets, ensuring consistent brand voice and visuals across all channels.
  • Review user-generated comments and posts on all social media sites in a timely manner, responding to comments to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience; escalate negative commentary or issues to the appropriate internal team members
  • Develop key indicators against which social media efforts will be measured, and create a corresponding analytics framework to monitor performance, and ROI
  • Manage and execute influencer partnerships (one-off and through affiliate networks like RewardStyle) for both awareness and conversion.
  • Track trends and social listening within the hair and beauty industry.
  • Brainstorm ideas for monthly influencer gifting program/and send out monthly gifts to key influencers

 


DESIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 3+ years of experience developing, managing, and growing a brand’s social media platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Tribe Dynamics, Traackr, Social Bakers, NetBase, Sprinklr, IronClad, Rival IQ.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytic, a plus.
  • Experience in creating and executing large- and small-scale influencer partnerships and giveaways.
  • Comfortable creating high-quality video and images for social use.
  • Solid understanding of social media analytics
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt and pivot based on data and brand needs.
  • Passion for social media, influencer, and PR.
  • Strong ability to translate brand strategies into daily social media content
