IT Analyst, Content & Commerce Site Data, Analytics and Tag Management

Location : New York, NY  

L'Oreal will be returning to the office under our Safe Together policy. Employees will be in the office three days a week and remote two days for all eligible functions (this does not include warehouse, distribution center, retail stores and labs).

We are in the middle of a digital transformation, and have become a ‘Digital First’ company, where data is at its core. As we enter the second phase of the digital revolution, one that offers new ways of building a special relationship with our consumers, were seeking a highly motivated individual, who wants to grow in the areas of site data, tagging, analytics, AdTech and tagging governance.  This person will work cross-functionally within the organization, working closely with our source partners, to maintain, support and grow analytics and tag management/governance within the organization.   

 Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the execution of the strategic vision for Analytics and Tag Management within the company.  

  • Help drive Analytics and Tag Management roadmap  

  • Serve as the main point of contract for all: site data, analytics, and tag management related requests and concerns 

  • Work closely with our support partner(s) on prioritizing tickets related to Analytics, and Tag Management. 

  • Ensure existing process, standards and procedures are followed when implementing site tagging and AdTech on our sites.  

  • Work closely with stakeholders from the L’Oreal brands, Digital IT, CDMO, Legal, Security, Infrastructure office, etc. across the US, Paris, Latin America and Canada.   

  • Identify tagging and pixel risks as early as possible, communicate them to the involved parties and facilitate their mitigation. 

  • Assist in ongoing maintenance and setup of company dashboards. 

Core Competencies/Professional Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree. 

  • 2+ years’ experience in business analysis 

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights 

  • Understanding of site data KPI’s 

  • IT vendor management experience 

  • Ability to interact effectively with internal business and IT teams at varying levels of the organization 

  • Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is a must 

  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, process orientation and problem-solving skills with multiple clients/vendors/projects. 

  • Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 

  • Strong problem solving and business analysis skills 

  • Experience in ecommerce/cosmetic/FMCG/retail industry is preferred 

  • Preferred: Experience making business recommendations 

Technical Requirements 

  • Experience working on eCommerce and content sites. 

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Big Query, Google Optimize and advertising technologies such as: AdWords, Bing, Campaign Manager, Floodlights, Rakuten, Criteo etc. 

  • Experience working with tools such as JIRA and Confluence 

  • Bonus : Experience with Rigor, Catchpoint, Google Lighthouse, Screaming Frog 

  • Bonus : Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Sitecore 

  • Familiarity with A/B testing 

  • SQL experience 

  • Microsoft Office applications -- Office Suite (Project, Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio) 

  • Passionate about Google and Analytics related technologies
