Job Summary

L’Oréal USA’s Corporate Affairs & Engagement team is looking for a highly motivated Director, Digital Engagement to work collaboratively across stakeholders to manage and grow corporate brand marketing initiatives across channels and segments. This role will also be responsible for animating a digital ecosystem of platforms, tools & technologies – including the company intranet and corporate website. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative capabilities, the desire and ability to excel as a digital marketer and is comfortable working in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

Corporate Brand Marketing / SEO / Paid Media

  • Plan, manage, and execute integrated media campaigns, including but not limited to strategy development, organization, and management
  • Build “always-on” strategies for amplifying content, coverage, metrics and successes related to strategic business outcomes
  • Develop and manage effective SEO strategies, collaborating across the team to promote engaging and relevant content 
  • Provide subject-matter expertise to the team on digital communications strategies, content targeting, campaign tracking and measurement
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, including delivering presentations to key stakeholders
  • Serve as direct point of contact for external agency partners 

Digital Stakeholder Engagement / Channel Management

  • Influence and drive the innovation roadmap for our digital platform ecosystem, making recommendations on how we can most effectively engage stakeholders on digital channels
  • Optimize stakeholder connection, collaboration, and engagement through a digital ecosystem across personalization, integration of tools, rebrand, sentiment analysis
  • Management and support of digital communications platforms, including project management, build, QA, deployment, testing, and measurement / reporting
  • Provides mentorship, structured assistance, instruction, and inspiration to team and network of digital strategists

Continuous Improvement / Insights & Analytics

  • Develop consistent frameworks for managing, measuring, and reporting digital storytelling across all corporate channels, activations, and stakeholders
  • Create activation summaries and impact reports, surfacing trends and insights that inform forward planning
  • Create and manage integrated dashboard on PowerBI for real-time channel & campaign data

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Self-motivated, with an appetite for working entrepreneurially and a track record as a self-starter
  • Tech savvy, with knowledge of a variety of communications tools and relevant use cases
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to execute projects with speed, accuracy and efficiency
  • Adaptable to changing business conditions and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical global, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong listening skills
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality – detail oriented but able to see the big picture


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of components of common web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript), proficiency a plus
  • Experience with one of the following enterprise technologies a plus: SiteCore, Unily, Poppulo, Livestream, Sli.Do, Appspace, Microsoft Teams Live
  • People management experience, preferred not required
