Job Summary  

  • Directs the coordination and administration of assigned area’s annual business plan/ Budget/Trend and Three Year Plan.  Responsible for associated presentations to senior management.
  • Responsible for the preparation, analysis and transmission of a variety of divisional finance reports in accordance with corporate requirements, i.e. budgets, balance sheets, budget spreads, P&L statements, and budget DIM L’Oréal reporting.
  • Manages cost control and conducts budget meetings with departmental managers.
  • Primary support person for all finance related issues for operating departments.
  • Keeps senior management and finance team informed about financial conditions within their assigned area as necessary.
  • Performs a variety of supervisory tasks including interviewing and selecting employees, employee training and development, performance management and salary administration.

  Job Requirements 

  • 7 – 10 years of experience in finance or accounting required including supervisory/management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • MBA/CPA preferred.
  • Strong computer skills required (Excel a must).
  • Lawson or Hyperion a plus.
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be able to apply judgment and decision making across all aspects of the role.  Critical thinking about the management of financial structures and people. 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

1.  Responsible for the preparation, analysis and transmission of budgets / trends aligned with brand strategy.


2.  Manages cost control and conducts monthly budget meetings with cross functional teams


3.  Act as a proactive business partner and bring recommendations on P&L and ROI analysis


4. Keeps senior management and finance team informed of risks and opportunities within their assigned area as necessary.


5. Ensure controls are maintained in line with L’Oreal group standards and support with audits


6. Provide ad hoc analysis
