In the Professional Products Division, our mission is to support hairdressers and develop the hair industry sustainably, while benefiting all. We’re the founding Division for the L’Oréal group, having history more than 110 years ago.

The Professional Products Division is universally known for exclusively supplying salons and other professional customers with the most advanced technologies in hair and beauty products. The 8 brands within this division are L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Shu Uemura Art of Hair, Redken, Pureology, Matrix, Biolage and Pulp Riot. Our brands have made us the world leader in professional beauty products and one of the most dynamic places to pursue your career in the UK.

 

You will

 

•    Lead the business intelligence function that is essential to understanding and accelerating the Salon/Stylist Channel + the wider division

 

•    Be divisional lead across the reporting portfolio, predominantly Bright (GCP/Looker) + Power BI, to ensure consistency and optimized work processes across the various brands

 

•    Support the commercial strategy and stakeholders by leveraging insight into action based on the data

 

•    Summarise the KPI reporting suite to share weekly insights to channel leaders and commercial GM

 

•    Be responsible for tracking and reporting to zone on the KPI performance of our field teams

 

•    Drive actionable insights by developing client segmentation and context to our stakeholders for optimal go-to-market approach.

 

•    Identify ways to harmonise reporting across channels within PPD – Direct, Indirect, O+O, E-Com.

 

•    Input to the divisional and wider L’Oreal UKI data strategy with a constant drive to simplify and improve.

 

Stakeholder Upskilling

•    Coach key stakeholders on understating tools, reports and how to extract insights and analysis to drive decisions.

 

Drive Action

•    Put Data at the heart of every decision made to impact the plan within the Direct channel through constant collaboration with the Business Development Managers + Commercial Teams

 

•    Act as a trusted advisor to the wider division through being the data expert - systems and insights.

 

Leadership

•    Owning the reporting suite across the division.

•    Line management for 1 Direct Report – Intern.

•    Strong Excel & analytical skills – knowledge of PowerBI beneficial

 

•    Manage complexities of data & IT systems

 

•    Demonstrable experience of turning data into insight into action
