The role:
Reporting to the Order Preparation Supervisor for the shift, the core purpose of the role is to support the smooth running of the Order Prep shift, through workload allocation and prioritisation.
Your key job accountabilities
- Monitoring safety and supporting site wide EHS objectives
- Owning promotional activity, including bin management and stock accuracy
- Balancing the workload of the team across the brands by creation date and delivery type
- Check all equipment and workload is appropriate for the shift
- Ensure team’s quality of customer orders
- Providing regular liaison between the team and the shift Supervisor
- EPOQ – monitor waiting stocks and replenish when necessary
- Holding team briefings when required
- Supporting the shift supervisor in any people queries, handling all situations discretely and professionally
Preferred Experience/ Skills
Experience within an order preparation, and eCom picking & packing is essential, with proof of good attendance and performance
The ability to problem solve and to demonstrate a logical approach to tasks
A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours in order to meet the needs of the business
Excellent people skills
Good organisational skills and the ability to constantly prioritise work
Attention to detail with high quality standards and excellent communication skills
Comfortable with working autonomously and with high levels of initiative
Basic experience with Excel and Outlook
