The Luxe category team is responsible for developing and leading plans for market share growth based on deep shopper, consumer, customer and competitor insight. To do so, this team relies on strong and up to date market intelligence and reporting. The team is also responsible for upskilling the division by regularly sharing the category dynamics, performance, innovation and trends.
This role will focus on the skincare category and requires an individual with strong communication and project management skills, capable of sharing and collaborating with internal teams to embed category knowledge. An analytical individual with a keen interest in translating market performance KPIs into insightful learnings for the business.
Key areas that we want to focus on as a division are
- Identifying category opportunities within our portfolio to address market gaps and seize opportunities.
- Driving instore through best-in-class instore executions, retailer partnerships, fixtures/space placements – ensuring we are achieving shopper excellence for our UKI consumer
A summer intern on the category team would be set a project to lead on competitor reporting for skincare, with a clear focus on:
- Winnings brands/products within our opportunity spaces, and determining where and how they are showcasing go-to-market excellence
- Being the division instore eyes and ears - who is harnessing instore excellence, retailer partnerships and second spaces, what does this look like and what can we learn from it

- Monitoring new product launches, collecting relevant screenshots and sharing digests with the teams

- Taking ownership of equipping our 2 biggest skincare brands with visibility across the above topics
- Aiding our drive market position across all axes, highlighting key UK needs and gaps
