THE MISSION: WHAT WILL AWAIT FOR YOU
Under Business Development Manager responsibility, jointly grow the Dermatocosmetics market and over-proportionally Division, thanks to:
- A strategic alignment with retailers based on Shopper insights Retail and Division Strategy
- A superior understanding of shopper needs and behaviors
- Develop a triple win (L’Oréal, Retailer and shopper) strategy, adequate mix activation plan and P&L of the category
- Build a trustful relation with counterparts at retailer’s, gain category captaincies, monitor category projects rollout, regularly updating office & field team
- Act as the referent for his/her category questions. Support the commercial team in their business plan alignment with retailers, with the right shopper and category insights, market and category reviews, and during retailer presentation.
- Help in internal arbitration between brands when needed, thanks to fact-based recommendation
- Provides Product performance, Retail and shopper insights for the different processes launch timings & pricing decisions
BUSINESS GOALS:
- Create retailer category strategy: take the developed category strategy and make retailer/ shopper centric proposal; Identify and unlock projects for growth
- Retailer strategy meeting: lead and develop sharp, shopper centric insight on categories
- Work on the key fundamentals by category: SOS, SOD, optimized assortment recommendation, planograms and customized POSMs to sustain products within furniture
- Lead and land retailer specific projects: store reinvention, projects in store
- Innovative tools / digital services: Create storytelling, guidelines of activation and create categorial LDB projects
- Multifunctional ways of working: Develop and embed multi-functional ways between Key account, CMI, commercial, marketing and supply
- Analyse retailer data
REQUIREMENTS:
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:
- Stays up to date with market, consumers & competitors
- Collects and connects comprehensive knowledge about the retailer/pharmacy
- Builds on categories Shopper insight
- Builds retailers development plans & Selling story
- Adapts brand distribution strategy per channel and/or customer & ensure compliance
- Collaborates across functions
- Pursues turnover and profit optimization
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Extended analytical skills, being able to collect data from several sources and interpret it
- Very well organized, capable of multitasking
- Masters analytical functions Excel (including macros, pivots, charts), PowerPoint
- Proficient in English
- Minimum 2 years of similar experience
