Senior Demand Planner 12m FTC

As The Senior Demand Planner in the team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Demand Planners within the Division. The Senior Demand Planner will lead the forecast creation for the whole Division working closely with Finance, Business Planning and Brand Teams to ensure their needs are aligned to the Divisional frame. You will be responsible for leading the Demand Team through their monthly activity cycle which is co-created with our business.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You will

  • Lead the total Luxury sales forecast creation, ensuring global sales forecast consistency through building consensus between commercial/customer forecasts, financial trend and sales history
  • Challenge and consolidate the promotional and launch sales forecasts projected by the Sales and Marketing teams, working closely with Business planning to align
  • Own the Cadrage process ensuring that our Divisional leads are aligned and aware of challenges which may impact the business performance. Own the sign-off, highlighting risks and opportunities vs financial commitments
  • Manage monthly and weekly communication with both the S&OP and UK based supply planning teams - providing an overview of key forecast changes.
  • Own the Road to 60% Forecast Accuracy improvement plan for the Demand Team. With a key focus on aligning practices and using key analytics to improve performance
  • Drive your team’s performance through close catalog management and contribute to its optimization with your expertise land leadership of the team. Implement change aligned with DGO initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Senior Supply Planner to ensure stock availability is optimized and service to customer remains a key priority
  • You will own a BU too, so be part of the Mancom for your brand, leading and driving supply chain initiatives.

You have:

  • Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Ability to engage and positively influence internal & external stakeholders. Ability to influence when change is required.

Continuous improvement mindset

  • Review and improve processes and share best practice with the wider team.
  • The ability to hold a team to account on deliverables

Demand Planning Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in product planning. Experience in demand planning is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of the building blocks and trends that influence the construction of a sales forecast

Excellent Communication Skills

  • Be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and simplify complex messages.
  • Be able to co-ordinate planning topics with your Mancom and brand team.

Systems Knowledge

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel. FuturMaster and SAP are an advantage
  • Experience in demand or business planning systems an advantage
