A Day in the Life
As the Senior Brand Manager for Maybelline New York, you will help to steer the future of the world's #1 makeup brand in the Australian & New Zealand markets. Reporting to the Brand Business Lead, you will drive growth, innovation, and consumer love, bringing the vibrant, street-style energy of Maybelline to life.
- Strategic Product Leadership: You will define and execute the local strategy for a makeup product segment, ensuring it aligns with global vision while resonating with the Australian consumer. You'll identify new growth opportunities and pilot the launch of exciting new products.
- Inspiring People Leadership: As Senior Brand Manager, you will support the Brand Business lead to coach brand team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment and positive, collaborative team culture. You will drive cross-functional collaboration to support the brand growth objectives.
- Marketing & Activation Excellence: You will develop integrated, consumer-centric marketing campaigns across all touchpoints
- Portfolio management: You will determine the optimal portfolio strategy for your makeup segment, including pricing, distribution, and in-store merchandising, including leading makeup planogram development.
- Commercial Acumen: You will monitor brand performance, working closely with sales, business development, and supply chain teams to ensure commercial success and market share growth.
We Are Looking For
We are looking for a strategic and innovative marketer, with a proven track record in brand management and a passion for makeup. You will have strong attention to detail and demonstrated operational excellence in managing a complex portfolio of products. Your ability to translate consumer insights into effective marketing strategies that resonate with the Australian & New Zealand consumer will be key to your success.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in:
- Brand & Product Strategy: developing and implementing comprehensive brand strategies that drive growth and market leadership.
- Creative thinking and Content Creation: Generating locally relevant big ideas, as well as compelling and disruptive content, to create impactful product campaigns
- Consumer Centricity: A deep understanding of consumer insights and the ability to place the consumer at the heart of all brand activities.
- Stakeholder Management & Cooperation: Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders, including commercial, finance, business development
- Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Proficiency in creating and executing impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Data-driven decision making: ability to leverage facts & data sets to build product strategy and guide decisions in a complex environment
