A Day in the Life

As the Senior Brand Manager for Vichy, you will be the strategic mind shaping the future of this leading brand within our Dermatological Beauty division. Based in Melbourne, you will drive the brand's growth and vision in the Australian market. You will guide transversal teams and steer the brand towards new opportunities.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Define and drive the long-term strategic agenda for Vichy (Hair, Skin, Deo and future new categories)
  • Take full accountability for the Vichy P&L and manage the A&P budget to maximize ROI
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of NPD, from strategic business case to market launch
  • Create and manage the strategic direction for Launch & Animation plans across all distribution channels
  • Collaborate closely with Vichy Comms Manager and Digital Brand Manager to ensure brand alignment
  • Drive commercial and POS execution, ensuring the brand’s positioning is effectively translated across O+O touchpoints 
  • Partner closely with Medical team on brand strategy and medical acceleration plans 
  • Lead robust forecasting in close collaboration with Supply Chain & Commercial 
  • Regularly conduct and communicate performance analysis, to anticipate market trends, competitor activity, and future growth opportunities
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the brand, providing strategic input into key internal planning processes and mentoring the broader marketing team

You are comfortable using data to make decisions and have a strong ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Brand Management: Proven ability to build and execute brand strategies that drive growth and market share.
  • Marketing Strategy: Expertise in developing comprehensive marketing plans, from positioning to execution.
  • Consumer Insights: A talent for analysing market data and consumer trends to inform your strategy.
  • Digital Marketing: Comfort with digital technologies, including CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to turn analysis into actionable insights.
