A Day in the Life

Ready to become a guardian of scientific integrity at the world's leading beauty company? Our High Flyer Internship is a 6-month program in Jakarta where you’ll dive into the critical field of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs. You will be the pilot ensuring our scientific claims are robust and compliant, acting as a bridge between science, marketing, and the law.

• Analyze the Landscape: You will analyze competitors' scientific claims and communication trends to ensure L'Oréal remains a leader in transparency and compliance.
• Ensure Product Integrity: You will support the regulatory team in reviewing product formulas, packaging, and advertising materials to ensure they meet all legal and scientific requirements.
• Validate Scientific Claims: You will assist in the substantiation of product claims, gathering and reviewing scientific data to support our marketing stories.
• Navigate Global Regulations: You will gain exposure to the complex world of cosmetic regulations, helping the team adapt to new rules and maintain our license to innovate.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented student with a passion for science and ethics. You're a perfect match if you are a determined achiever ready for a role with real impact:

• A final-year university student pursuing a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Regulatory & Scientific Affairs: A keen interest in the rules that govern the beauty industry and a passion for ensuring consumer safety and trust.
• Analytical Thinking: The ability to meticulously analyze data, competitor claims, and regulatory texts to identify risks and opportunities.
• Scientific Communication: The skill to communicate complex scientific and regulatory information clearly and accurately.
• Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for detail, as accuracy is paramount in this field.
• Collaboration: A great team player who can work effectively with legal, marketing, and R&I teams.
