What You Will Do

The Manager, Affiliate Activation (TikTok Shop) is the strategic champion of our creator engagement ecosystem. This role is responsible for leading the growth of our Social Commerce presence on TikTok for the US, developing a full-funnel affiliate model that drives both brand love and conversion. The ideal candidate possesses a unique "Math and Magic" mindset—leveraging deep analytical insights to fuel viral creativity. You will scale performance through high-impact content, manage an expansive creator network, and maintain a rigorous pulse on platform trends to drive innovation and engagement.

This person must be an active TikTok content creator with affiliate status and working access to TikTok’s Affiliate Center. You will build direct relationships with L3+ creators, produce content that models best practices for the affiliate network. 


Responsibilities

Performance Tracking and Business Intelligence

  • Comprehensive KPI Management: Track and report on channel metrics including Gross Merchandise Value, Average Order Value,Sampling,conversion rates, and active affiliate counts to link creator performance directly to sales targets.
  • Full Funnel Data Analysis: Analyze performance via the TikTok Business Suite and Seller Center toidentifyoptimization opportunities and deep conversion insights that fuel brand awareness.
  • Executive Insights: Deliver weekly,monthly, quarterly & annualreporting with clear actionable recommendations for senior leadership by converting creator measurements into high level business plans.
  • Creator ROI Monitoring: Manage affiliate incentive budgets and commission boosts with a focus on Return on Investment and Return on Ad Spend to ensure efficient resource allocation.

Creator Community and Affiliate Management

  • Strategic Pipeline Scaling: Personallyidentify, vet, and recruit high-impact affiliates beyond agency-sourced talentbased on monthly targets to expand brand reach.
  • High Tier Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with top tier creators through direct outreach by personallyidentifyingand vetting high impact affiliates beyond agency sourced talent.
  • Community Nurturing and Retention: Foster the creator community by hosting in person events, moderating webinars, and managing active communications via platforms like Lark, Discord, and the TikTok Shop Affiliate Center.
  • Contract and Terms Negotiation: Lead negotiations for creator terms including specific deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, and timelines to ensure brand alignment and quality.
  • Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Monitor creator content daily for compliance by flagging violations of brand guidelines and executingde monetizationprotocols when necessary.

Activation and Content Innovation

  • Best in Class Modeling: Lead by example by filming first party TikTok content that modelshigh qualitystorytelling and product education for the affiliate network to emulate.
  • Data Driven Creative Briefing: Develop personalized briefs by gathering product details, legal claimsand content direction in consultation with Brand Marketing and International Marketing teams.
  • Technical Asset Production: Coordinate before and after transformations and co-host on camera livestreams with talent to bridge the gap between storytelling and conversion.
  • Platform Intelligence: Monitoralgorithm shifts and trending sounds to translate platform intelligence into actionable creative pivots and updated creator briefs in real time.
  • Content Optimization and Testing: Execute A/B tests on content formats such as trend driven versus product led and review top performing content for paid media boosting recommendations.

Campaign Execution and Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Sampling and Logistics Strategy: Develop and manage a sampling strategy and gifting operations including order placement and shipment tracking to ensuretimelycreator activation.
  • Operational Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for TikTok Shop Partners to ensure their executionremainsaligned with L’Oréal’s strategic goals and brand standards.
  • Internal Thought Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert on TikTok Shop strategy for Marketing, Analytics and Insights, and divisional stakeholders.
  • Brand Agility and Support: Partner with Brand Marketing to build an agile content bank for trendhacking and coordinate with customer care teams to convert inquiries into sales opportunities.
  • TikTok Shop Campaigns:Oversee the full lifecycle of TikTok Shop campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader brand campaigns and a unified customer experience. 

What We Are Looking For

  • Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, with a heavy emphasis on TikTok and/or TikTok Shop.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, ora relatedfield.
  • Advancedexpertisein contract negotiations and relationship management withhigh-tier/VIP influencers or talent agencies.
  • In-depth experience in creator briefing, influencer community management, and budget oversight for beauty and/or lifestyle brands.
  • Proficiencyin TikTok Business Suite, TikTok Shop Seller Center, Sprinklr,Traackr, Lark, and Discord, and editing platforms.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Corporate experience withintech, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Advanced skills in project management, data storytelling, and presentation execution.
