What will you do?
The Head of Media is responsible for accelerating business growth within our HUB operations by developing and executing high-impact media strategies across multiple divisions. This role demands expertise in navigating the media landscape to maximize ROI and deliver measurable results through strategic media investments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Growth acceleration: Work closely with Zone, Management Committee, Consumer Market Intelligence team on businessobjectivesand divisional marketing strategies. Must be well-versed in both integrated marketing and performance media to drive best in class beauty marketing
- Learn & share: Activate,consolidateand share learnings across the various Divisions, Departments toleveragethe power of diversity and shared intelligence of L’Oréal.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of media professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Channel Expertise:Demonstrateand share a strong understanding of various media channels, including digital advertising (programmatic, search, social), traditional media,
- Operational excellence and Compliance: Ensure all media activities run on time, in full, and in full compliance with media golden rules and industry regulations andstandardsretail media (Tiktok, eCommerce pureplay platforms).
- ROI & Budget Management: in cooperation with CMI, Division CDOs & Marketing, oversee the media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Industry Knowledge and Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging media technologies and onboard key stakeholders – Marketing, ManCom.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments,including Marketing, BusinessDevelopmentand Sales.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with media agencies, publishers, eCommerce marketing platforms, and other vendors.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, ora relatedfield.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably within thebeauty,retail industry.
- Proven experience in senior stakeholder management
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of media professionals.
- Solidtrack recordof handling end-to-end digital marketing and performance media campaigns
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
