L'Oreal Philippines is actively seeking a Group Platform Manager for TikTok Shop

(TikTok Platform Lead)

 

What will you do? 

 

This pivotal leadership role reports directly to the Online Commercial Director and involves managing a dedicated team with a minimum of two (2) direct reports and a Tribe of multiple cross-functional stakeholders. This position requires both direct people management and matrix reporting within the organization.

 

As the Group Platform Manager for TikTok, you will play a crucial role in achieving both gross sales and net profit targets, along with improving engagement scores on TikTok Shops. Your responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy that includes business planning, promotional activities, and merchandising mix.

 

Further responsibilities entail:

 

  • Leading the development of TikTok Shop’s Customer Development Plan and executing key Joint-Business Planning initiatives to achieve market excellence and strategic goals.
  • Meeting assigned sales targets and growth objectives in line with the broader eCommerce strategy, while managing and monitoring trade promotion investments for optimal ROI.
  • Curating product mix and assortment strategies tailored to market needs and opportunities unique to TikTok and TikTok Shops.
  • Conducting rigorous business analytics and competitive monitoring across commercial TikTok data, including conversion and engagement metrics with ecosystem partners.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive investment and execution strategy across the TikTok platform, maximizing traffic and sales opportunities from various channels.
  • Innovating sales and marketing strategies by leveraging insights and data analysis to implement new technologies, marketing solutions, and platform innovations.
  • Engaging with regional teams to expand and adapt successful practices and insights.
  • Driving operational excellence within a broad, cross-functional team (minimum of 15 members) and directly managing a focused team (minimum of 2).
  • Disseminating best practices and key learnings throughout the organization.

 

 

 

 

Key Qualifications:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree coupled with a minimum of 8 years of experience in e-commerce, FMCG, or related fields.
  • Strong business & commercial acumen is essential, preferably within the FMCG industry, to accommodate a steep learning curve.
  • Proven people management and development skills
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects, cross-functional teams, and stakeholder relationships across diverse functions.
  • Skilled in managing ambiguity and updating leadership effectively on project progress.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with experience in utilizing data to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of eCommerce dynamics, including key account management and sales planning.
  • Proficient understanding of the on-platform ecosystem on TikTok or similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with TikTok’s media solutions and user behavior to boost on-platform visibility.
  • A proactive approach to identifying consumer insights and developing distinctive solutions within the category.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
