As a Consumer Science specialist within the Evaluation Intelligence team, our roles require experienced qualitative and quantitative researcher, possessing excellent analytical, strategic thinking and collaboration skills responsible for leading studies for the different L’Oréal product categories.

 

In the department of Consumer Science SAPMENA R&I, we are looking for a candidate who can join us immediately. 


Location:  Mumbai, India

Work Experience: 4-8 years

 

In this role, you core responsibilities will be to: 

  • Design and Execute: Qualitative and Quantitative consumer studies from inception to completion including study design, target consumer selection & objectively define the success criteria basis business needs, discussion guide for in-depth interviews and moderation guides for focus groups, co-creation workshops with KOLs and consumers, quantitative questionnaire preparation, in-person and digital product evaluation
  • Synthesize Information: Should be able to synthesize information on slides in a crisp manner to communicate results and recommendations effectively. Analyze the outputs (simple and complex) and go beyond the facts, deep dive analysis and translate data into meaningful findings, clear conclusions and actionable recommendations
  • Innovate: Support new, forward thinking evaluation techniques, methodologies and strategies for the future of consumer evaluation
  • Work with Collaborative Communities: Set up new online communities and conduct studies with the existing ones, to ensure deep insights are captured and provide direction to team in the delivery of product insights, action and results that create value for a consumer centric product development. 
  • Manage Stakeholders: Effective coordination with external agencies and internal stakeholders
    1. Agency Partners: briefing, managing timelines, challenging timings and budget where necessary, ensuring accuracy of output. Ability to objectively select the most relevant agency to fit the business need, ensuring compliance with legal requirements especially with new agencies, that would best answer our expectations/needs
    2. Internal Stakeholders: discuss project briefs with the product innovators, work in tandem with other teams conducting objective measurements of product performance to give a well-rounded analysis of the product, confidently present research findings to local and global stakeholders, manage timely procurement and invoicing of projects etc.
  • Multi-task: Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously in an efficient manner, with clear priorities, timelines and study plans
  • Experience in behavioral/neuroscience, predictive analysis, and data analytics is an added advantage, but not a job must

 

To succeed in this position, you should have: 

  • Master’s Qualification with 4-8 years of qualitative and quantitative research experience across agency and client side
  • High level of passion for consumer centricity during the product development process
  • Strong inclination towards innovation & implementation of contemporary methods and tools in consumer market research
  • Previous project management experience; clear understanding of project set-up and timelines
  • Ability to succinctly and visually represent key insights, using a story telling approach a must
