We have a suitable opening in the function of Sales for the position of BA Training Manager in the Consumer Products Division. In this role you will play a crucial role in designing & delivering education & training for our Beauty Advisors, Makeup Artists, Sales Workforce (Internal & External), conducting skills gap analysis, preparing learning material, and evaluating results after each training session. For this role, you will work closely with our Country Education & Operations head and Regional sales head and internal stakeholders to identify challenges they face on-the-job and recommend ways to increase productivity & overall performance by ensuring they have the right skills to achieve business goals. Conduct trainings on various genres such as Make up & Skin Training, Artistry Training, sales skills, strategic selling, product & process knowledge, tech and digital skills, value creation and beauty as a domain. The candidate should have 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in the FMCG business. The location of the job will be based out of Bengaluru
Key Deliverables:
Education & Training:
1. Successfully deliver makeup training and retail enablement programs to ensure the BA Workforce is equipped with content, resources, and tools to effectively help the business achieve all targets
2. Lead all Training related activities including product information, competitor analysis, customer service etc and perform pre-post evaluations of the training participants to analyze effectiveness
3. Develop training material including presentations, videos, makeup & sales scripts and case studies and enhance training effectiveness through new instructional delivery strategies and presentation skills
4. Act as the educational expert to all our BA workforce and provide advice for all on job related challenges
5. Conduct On counter training for all the Beauty advisors, Skin care specialists and retail store staffs
6. Monitor trainee participation, provide feedback, coaching and support post training sessions
7. Determine training needs by shadowing Bas at retail counters, evaluations, and assessments, and conferring with their supervisors to arrive at training needs and goals
8. Review and evaluate training programs and conduct Skill gap analysis to identify areas of improvement
9. Developing individual coaching plans, providing resources and assistance, scheduling orientation with senior representatives
10. Develop individual results by providing coaching, conducting training sessions, and developing outcome improvement resources
11. Innovative, able to develop new concepts and to deliver creative solutions through Projects
12. Be versatile and skilled in delivering online and offline training programs using In-house Learning Management Systems
13. BA Operations and Admin: Recruitment and onboarding: Recruiting best in-class beauty Advisors for our retail counters and ensure they meet chain and brand standards
14. Retail Excellence: BA deployment, Manning of counters and Retail & Brand Excellence are major KPIs
15. Manage and oversee BA Performance, Motivation, Attrition and Recruitment
Measuring Training Effectiveness :
1. Identify competency gaps – product knowledge, process knowledge, functional skills, customer experience for assigned manpower and work towards closing gaps through training
2. Conduct role-plays, OJTs, audits and assessments of the assigned manpower including pre-training and post training effectiveness
3. Compile and Present Training Reports and tracking Training Effectiveness through Periodic Audits
4. Ensure that training coverage is in line with key performance indicators and training need analysis
Desired Candidate Profile:
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline
5-6 plus years’ experience as a dynamic Makeup, Beauty, Retail Trainer or in a similar role
Should be comfortable with Beauty and teaching makeup artistry as an educational topic
Language Skills:
Hindi and English (Proficient). Proficiency in any regional languages such as Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam will be an added advantage
Additional certifications in training shall be a plus
Ability to manage full training cycle with virtual classroom-style presentations
Curriculum development experience strongly preferred
Proven experience writing compelling, concise content that simplifies complex topics
Dynamic forward-thinking leader with a passion for training others for excellence
Ability to self-direct, self-edit, multi-task, prioritize assignments, and manage projects
Ability to utilize a training methodology to deliver content to a diverse audience
Must possess the ability to read and analyze sales reporting information
Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms (Added Advantage)
Certifications in Makeup Artistry, Educational Frameworks or Instructional Designing would be an added advantage
Strong business acumen with exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
Travelling across the Southern Region is a Job Must for this role
