As a Purchasing Analyst for Retail Design Operations (RDO), you are the backbone of our procurement execution. You will ensure the seamless flow of goods by managing the end-to-end lifecycle of purchase orders within SAP, maintaining data integrity, and proactively resolving supply chain bottlenecks. Working across 18+ brands and all pillars (Sets, Animation, Design), you will serve as a critical link between vendors, transportation, and internal inventory teams. This role will sit out of our Hudson Yards office in New York City, New York. 

 

A Day in the Life: Your responsibilities will include:

  • SAP System & Purchase Order Management
    • PO Execution: Convert US DMI Purchase Requests into SAP Purchase Orders and draft US affiliate and non-inventory purchase orders for vendor issuance.
    • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records in Cosmo Pal for Distribution Center (DC) receipts.
    • Invoice Resolution: Own the invoice process for any troubleshooting & discrepancy resolution to ensure timely vendor payments.
    • KPI Ownership: Monitor and report on monthly purchasing KPIs to drive operational excellence.
  • Production & Receiving Coordination
    • Production Oversight: Partner with suppliers to confirm production timelines and ensure alignment with business needs.
    • Receipt Confirmation: Validate Goods Receipts (GR) and manage Technical Data Sheets with vendors and Logfret.
    • Expediting: Actively coordinate with vendors and transportation teams to expedite shipments and resolve logistical delays.
  •  New Doors
    • Tracking: Consolidate new door opening requests for Sephora & ULTA across all LUXE brands
    • Stakeholder Management: Partner with Finance on CAPEX/CER needs 
    • PO Execution: Issue POs to vendors & GR
  • Inventory & Strategic Analysis
    • Flow Optimization: Perform inventory analysis and work cross-functionally with management teams to ensure efficient stock movement.
    • Reporting: Synthesize complex data into actionable reports for multiple levels of management to support business decisions.
  • Communication
    • Coordinate with third-party suppliers and vendors, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and ensuring full compliance with contractual non-disclosure obligations throughout the project lifecycle
    • Internal stakeholders- Maintain professional and effective communication channels across all levels of the organization, ensuring seamless information flow between executive stakeholders and operational teams

 

We Are Looking For: You are an inspirational leader who can influence first-in-class beauty innovations.

  • Education:  A completed Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a business-related field is required
  • Experience: 
    • 1-3 years of relevant, full-time work experience in purchasing or production is required., 
    • Experience within the Luxe or CPG sectors is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, MyMarket system, Cosmopal, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data manipulation) and PowerPoint.
  • Soft Skills: A detail-oriented multi-tasker with strong prioritization skills who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Agility: A quick learner capable of working with minimal supervision and taking ownership of end-to-end projects.
  • The ability to be onsite, in the office as this is an essential function of the position (required)
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis without the need for legal sponsorship now or in the future (required)

  • Base Salary Range: $71,300 - $99,800 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
