POSITION PURPOSE  

The Planning Manager, National Accounts is responsible for ensuring accurate retail and net phasing based on divisional guidance. This role will lead transition and the onboarding period for centralized Sales Operations team. After the transition completion, this individual will be the sole liaison between the division and internal UD team. This person will be responsible for onboarding UD Account Teams to all respective new processes & systems.  

  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

Responsible for the accurate phasing of retails and nets based on divisional guidance, including:    

  • Accurate retail phasing by month with each L’Oreal re-trend  

  • Forecast sizeable launch ambitions by retailer 

  • Validate channel split between B&M vs Dotcom by retailer 

  • Cross collaboration with Operations & Finance for updated Markdown sell thru  

  • Proficiency in working with Skypad & Sales Cube Analzyer required 

  • Create and update Mix of Business by retailer 

  • Proactively monitoring and resolving low or out-of-stock conditions 

  • Working closely with the account inventory analyst team to determine SKU demand opportunities and sell-thru implications for additional stock or potential old age risks. (Review, analyze and project all product returns in partnership with the Director)  

  • Weekly UD Gross reporting by basic, markdown and newness 

  • Accurate forecasting of all minorations including co-op, DIF, RTV’s 

  • Working closely with Operations to ensure appropriate lifts in forecast 

  • Working closely with inventory management and customer service to discern product availability implications to assess shipment risk and the need for demand planning interaction for future order needs 

  • Reconcile PO’s on a weekly basis by retailer -must be proficient in SAP to retrieve PO data 

  • Ensure entry of all LEAP events by retailer 


Compile all retail sales reports, including:  

  • Weekly deep dive reporting by account by channel  

  • Monthly comprehensive recap on entire business  

  • Make recommendations based on reported observations   

  • Competitive retail reports  

  • Mix of business  

  • Field Tracking  


Ad-hoc projects as required:  

  • Assist in the creation and planning for presentations supporting on-site & off-site management meetings and retailer presentations   

  • Process new store opening paperwork and communicate closed doors to the Centralized Sales Ops Team 

  • Align with Centralized Sales Ops & Sales Admin to ensure full representation of all doors and field team in SAP, SalesForce, Analytics Cube (Analyzer), and ROE 

  • Communicate and follow-up on all necessary business information from buying office to Director to VP Sales, Centralized Sales Ops and the Field Sales Team  

  • Align with Finance and Centralized Sales Ops to ensure proper tracking of testers, damages, physical returns, coop, and MDs in LEAP, in collaboration with Director
