Your mission...
As a Nordic Category Manager at L'Oréal Luxe in the Nordics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brands. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving Nordic category strategies, ensuring alignment with our global vision while fostering cross-functional collaboration. You will identify growth opportunities, build strong retailer relationships, and champion innovative activation plans to maximize market share and profitability. This dynamic role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of consumer and market trends. The role will be based in either Copenhagen or Stockholm and reports to the Nordic Chief Growth Officer.
- Drive Nordic Category Growth: Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends and shopper behavior, developing and implementing tailored Nordic category strategies in collaboration with global and local teams.
- Execute Go-to-Market Plans & Build Retailer Relationships: Design and implement impactful category activation plans in partnership with Business Units and Commercial teams, fostering strong relationships with key retailers through expert insights and collaborative strategies.
- Optimize Performance & Champion Best Practices: Monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of strategies, adapt and communicate global best practices, and provide insights for budget planning.
- Contribute to Long-Term Strategy & Lead Presentations: Participate in long-term category planning, provide local market expertise, and lead yearly strategy presentations to retailers, showcasing our vision and collaborative approach.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Marketing, Business Units, and other stakeholders to align category activation plans with overall business objectives, fostering regular dialogue with Commercial teams and retailers to shape growth opportunities.
We are looking for…
- You have +3 years of experience in category management
- You have demonstrated the ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth. You have a talent for identifying opportunities to grow brands and categories by assessing white spaces.
- You have gained knowledge of activation excellence and business opportunity identification.
- You possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify market trends. You are proficient in data-driven decision making and shopper intelligence.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are skilled in P&L management and budget allocation.
- You have a passion for the beauty industry and a drive to stay ahead of market trends.
