Role: Multi-Brand Educator (American Brands) CAPE TOWN
In charge of clients’ training to the BRAND products and techniques, boosting sales through education and driving to Access
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Customer trainings:
- Visits and trains customers in their region to develop their technical skills and product knowledge, working closely with the Business Partners
- Follows high potential clients in their region individually
- Leads training sessions in salons, academies and online and in line with Education strategy for all brands
- Is the relay and contact of clients concerning Access, to increase drive and increase usage and penetration to Access
- Boosting sales through education + live streams + e-eventing
- Strategises and optimises interactions with stylists, to increase education reach and amplify its impact, turning our education into a strong business / growth driver and engagement / advocacy driver
-Deliver Engaging Training Programs Conduct dynamic training sessions for salon professionals, both in-person and online, covering product knowledge, application techniques, latest trends, and brand identity for [Brand Name(s)].
-Drive Sales through Education Empower stylists with the knowledge and skills to confidently recommend and retail L'Oréal products, directly contributing to sales growth in their salons.
-Tailored Learning Experiences Provide personalized coaching and follow-up support to salon partners, adapting training content to meet their specific business needs.
-Become a Trusted Advisor Cultivate strong relationships with salon owners and stylists, becoming a go-to resource for product and industry expertise.
-Champion New Product Launches Excite and educate salon partners on new product launches and innovations, maximizing adoption and retail success.
New clients partnership:
- Visits and trains new potential client partners, in coordination with the Business Partners
Schools:
- Provides trainings for hairdressing schools of their area
Brand identity:
- Is the guardian of the brand’s awareness within their area
- Improves in-salon and adapts to brand standards
- Communicates brand’s values and product information in seminars, trainings (classroom, digital, webinars…) to customer and colleagues
Business Duo coordination:
- Trains Business Partners on brand (products and services)
Management:
- Coached by Education Managers across the brand
TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Elevates customer experience & Service attitude – fosters empathy, knows customer profiles & transmits customer-centricity.
- Experience in hairdressing & or beauty experience (Masters all technical hair topics)
- Knowledge of brands’ identities and value propositions
- Transmits & empowers appropriate learning solutions for customer experience; delivers & transmits educational content; provides personalized follow-up and animates learning communities with passion.
- Collaboration and team work skills, to develop the best tailor-made education and business development plan for the customer
- Ability to influence

- Effective communicator with good presentation skills
- Expertise on the BRANDS: masters brand identities and knows value proposition
- Deep knowledge of the brand’s products and services and knows how to present and transmit them to customers
Business Development & Partnership:
- Identify High-Potential Salons: Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to identify and onboard new salon partners who align with L'Oréal (Redken / Matrix / Pureology) values and growth strategies.
- Develop Strong Salon Partnerships: Nurture existing relationships through consistent communication, tailored training programs, and ongoing support.
- Elevate Salon Standards: Promote and uphold brand image standards within partner salons, ensuring a consistent and premium client experience.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously expand knowledge of hairdressing techniques, industry trends, and competitive products to provide cutting-edge education.
TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Passion for Beauty: Genuine enthusiasm for the beauty industry and a desire to share knowledge and expertise.
- Proven Hairdressing Expertise: Strong technical skills and experience as a licensed hairstylist, with a deep understanding of color, cut, styling, and product application.
- Exceptional Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions to diverse audiences, both large and small.
- Strong Business Acumen: Understanding of salon operations, retail sales strategies, and the ability to translate product knowledge into business results.
- Digital Fluency: Comfortable using technology and online platforms for training delivery, communication, and reporting.
- Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can build strong relationships with colleagues and salon partners.
