Job Summary & Responsibilities
This role is the lead for e-comm education within the PPD American Brand DMI’s. The position requires collaboration with Education, Omnichannel team, and Brands to ensure the best in class offerings for B to B. This position is responsible for ensuring assets are implemented to improve “digital shelf” presence, resulting in sales and regularly conducting quality assurance for all education e-content that is deployed. This role requires strong digital communication skills, ability to sell, and ability to work well across multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Train and upskill partner artists through digital education assets and events
- Ensure content is relevant / updated to be available and syndicated to e-retailers in a timely manner
- Support the development, improvement, and maintenance of overall written educational content in partnership with e-comm and channel teams
- Manage the structure and storage of all education content, including cataloging, tagging, keywords
- Oversee specialization of e-content assets including ensuring the right education assets are ready or their respective retail platforms
- Partner with analytics on critical metric performance across e-retailers and drive action to address issues
- Partner with platform vendors and utilize insights (content syndication reporting tools) to maintain outstanding online education shopping experience
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Cosmetology License preferred
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, sales and/or training required
- 3+ years of experience with live, social and/or on screen selling as is done on social media and networks like QVC/HSN required
- Experience in corporate environment of beauty or fashion industry required
- Ability to handle complexity and work with different groups
- Experience in hair a plus
- Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Passion for social media and its dynamics, and particularly Instagram and Youtube
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to function as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent proofreading skills

Judgment & Decision Making
- This position requires limited supervision. An ideal candidate will work autonomously to complete projects and assignments as well as work cross functionally to achieve short and long-term brand objectives.
Job Requirements
- Office based role with long periods of sitting and computer work. Minimal physical activities, lifting up to 25lbs. required occasionally. Travel required up to 25% as well.
