SENIOR NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER –

CONSUMER PRODUCT DIVISION


L’Oréal UKI CPD is seeking a dynamic, results driven Senior National Account Manager to lead the L’Oreal Morrisons Business driving a truly multifunctional team. The role reports into the Customer Business Manager who manages the Morrisons & Asda channel. This role has full account P&L ownership, will include management of one National Account Manager and is an excellent role for someone who is looking to step up and take the lead both internally and externally of one of our top four grocery accounts.


Build and achieve the customer results for the full CPD portfolio:

Sales, market share, P&L down to gross margin, forecasting
Build customer plans based on Category Strategy team recommendations and CPD priorities
Drive new business and / or e-retail / e-comm turnover in the account

Build and develop a multifunctional team:

Lead and engage the team
Develop, train, coach the team members individually
Cascade down information provided by manager

Manage a customer-centric approach:

Build a strong relationship with all relevant stakeholders of the customer, including top buying management
Mutually share strategies with the customer, and jointly grow the categories with the customer
Be an “insider” to our customers
Develops in alignment with the Customer Business Manager and Commercial Director the customer strategy, aligns it with the retailers, Brands, and Category and Strategy Development team and implements common strategic work streams

Animate internally and externally (including external services) an efficient multifunctional organisation:

Drive the customer as Business Leader, by animating peer functions: marketing, supply chain, controlling, category management, shopper and category team

Accountable for the results of annual negotiation:

Supervise or/and decide in alignment with Commercial Operations GM



Educated to degree level
Highly numerate – strong analytically

Strong negotiator & look for a win-win opportunities with our retail partners
Highly organized with prioritization skills.

Alongside experience in a similar role and excellent leadership & communication skills, you should be confident demonstrating all of the following:

An entrepreneurial mindset. Comfortable working with autonomy and ambiguity
Significant experience in a customer-facing role
Experience in a non-commercial role is a strong asset
Proven knowledge of retailer strategies and objectives
Strong influencing skills – you will be required to demonstrate thought leadership as well as drive to execution
Have a growth mindset
Robust account management skills – joint business planning, internal forecasting and a category led approach to strategy
