Position Title: | Marketing & Communication Team Manager – L’Oréal Professionnel Paris – PPD Division |
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Define and guide the country brand strategy consistent with the international brand positioning and the country’s priorities to contribute to continued growth of the brand and the consumer relationship.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Define the strategic directions and the 3-year marketing plan, guide portfolio priorities (new launches, pillar products’ renewal and animation of core catalogue)
- Steer the collection and analysis of consumer and market insights, share findings with the zone to ensure the consistency of new product development with the country’s needs
- Take ownership of international launches and create the right angle of attack locally to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences locally. Supervise the entire development process and the respect of deadlines
- Manage the budget (sales forecast; price strategy, profitability of the brand, P&L, etc.)
- Lead the marketing mix strategies (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) and the adaptation of communication (imagery, digital, point of sales)
- Mobilise other departments (sales, logistic, education, etc. ) and partner agencies to develop a broader business strategy
- Define clear messages to present to top management and accompany the teams in the preparation of meetings
- Build, develop and manage your team, train them and develop their marketing expertise and know-how Specific to selective divisions:
- Own the brand patrimony, guarantee the brand identity: ensure that all actions are in line with the sense of purpose while nourishing the brand
- Translate the brand’s sense of purpose into a retail strategy for the country (services, advice, etc.)
- Influence the B-to-B strategy working hand-in-hand with the retail and education team, lead the roll-out of retail material (service, advice, etc.)
- Influence media and promotion plans and Lead market research plans
- Being a bold individual leader with high self-motivation to advance and progress
- Being a good communicator/collaborator to work cross-functionally
- Build, manage and develop long-term Ecommerce relationships in order to achieve the targeted sales revenue by increasing the brand’s online presence.
- Plan & execute online strategy for each channels (especially Naver) and identify new ecommerce trends and opportunities online.
- Strengthen and reinforce brand awareness by enhancing brand’s visibility and improving sales performance and developing premium service and experience.
- Optimize sales performance through data analysis and online products placement management while optimizing customer experience.
- Drive sales, conversion, margin, inventory turn, platform optimization and manage sales KPI (sell out target, product conversion, Average Order Value, number of new & existing consumers etc)
- Drive business results by leveraging sales analysis: oversee overall ecommerce sales data to control best product placement online.
- Maximize sales performance through analytical data and product placement on the platforms.
- Realize online competitive intelligence to maintain the brand’s competitive advantage.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education: University Graduate
- Years of experience: 10+ years PM/BM experience is preferred
- Experience:
- A variety of online and offline channel experiences such as e-commerce, live commerce, TVHS, B2B experience are preferred
- Experience or good knowledge of setting up e-commerce or new brands is preferred
- Language: Fluent in both Korean and English
- Other Skills:
- Proficient with Excel, SQL, SPSS, any other analysis tool
