Section 2:  Job description 

Partner with Dir creative and creative POD leads, develop, and execute a wide variety of assets for product launches in stores (Salon Centric, ULTA, Sephora) and key salons. Ensure the brand equity is maintained, strengthen, and expressed consistently through salon, store, to chains.   

•Think independently and be able to understand business objectives and priority and able to develop creative strategies and execution which meets business needs. 

•Be able to present ideas to brand management team (GM/ VP) and influence decision making with team. 

•Be the knowledge holder of top customer retail and salon environment. Constantly strive for better, more innovative solutions for package innovation and in-store display. Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail 

•Be able to plan ahead and lead and execute internal meeting preparation. 

•Have an in-depth understanding of brand building fundamental and honor brand equity and heritage to execute design creation. 


Section 3:  Job Requirements 

• BFA/BA with focus in Graphic Design or related field of study. 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Communication Graphic/ Visual Merchandising. Ideal candidate should have relevant experience in beauty industry.  

• Excellent communication skills and deep empathy and emotional intelligence. 

• Must be highly organized, passionate, strategic-thinker, collaborative, energetic, positive, self-starter, driven, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills 

• Must be hands-on and able to execute projects independently from start to finish. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment: willingness and ability to be reactive, flexible, and resourceful under tight deadlines 

• Thorough knowledge of the creative process, including practical implementation, in order to effectively gauge workloads and deadline expectations. 

• Photoshop expert level and superior Adobe Creative Suite knowledge 

Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign / Photoshop /Illustrator /Premier /Prop or Final Cut/After affects (motion window ) Cinema 4D/ Social Media native

  1. In conjunction with the Category Pod Lead and Creative Leads, support PPD US DMI’s brand identity and translate it throughout the entire creative process 


  1. Oversee pod creative output and production in terms of advertising image (trade and consumer print), copywriting, packaging design and artwork, merchandising, display, sales promotion, and education and training materials.   


  1. Design and execute display graphics; point of sale materials. @ every tough point of consumer shopping experience. Collaborate both with the POD creative lead and U.S. Marketing to translate what is algid with DMI is properly executed at the regional launch.  


  1. Design and execute of print and digital graphic publication. 


  1. Manage outside vendors when necessary, including briefing, quality control, timing and budgeting.  


  1. In alignment with the Digital partners, responsible for the direction of all agile content creation for PPD US DMI’s global social channels, as well as Axis educational content within my assigned categories. 


  1. Working closely with the Packaging AD, responsible for the creative direction and execution of all packaging specific photoshoots. 


  1. Responsible for the direction and execution of over-arching DMI  
    brand communication materials and assets (ie product guides, style  
    guide/brand book evolution, educational brochures, and non-category specific video content).
