SUMMARY

  • As Infra Operations Security Manager you will report directly to the Dir, Infrastructure Zone OPS. 
  • The position requires operational excellence, technical expertise and practical implementation experience to continually advance the Company’s IT Operational Service Delivery.
  • The position will provide security leadership to the Infrastructure Applications team, focused on the Operational Management for Cloud (AWS/Azure) and On Premise Infrastructure
  • Responsible for the direction of L’Oreal Infrastructure MSP’s in relation to this role.  Responsible for ensuring SLA’s and KPI’s are being measured by the L’Oreal Security team
  • Build and develop relationships within L’Oreal, ensuring Managed Service Providers and Zone Operation Leaders are aligned with the Infra Security Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Serve as one of the key “right-hand” technical hands-on managers- to the Dir IT Operations for the Americas while providing security knowledge to the broader teams.

·       Act as the Primary interface from Infra OPS to the America’s SECOPS team.

·       Identify and Resolve L3/L4 problems not managed by MSP’s

·       Ability to work with security team to understand security scans and implement effective remediations.

·       Work closely with the application and business teams to manage vulnerability remediations.

·       Vendor / MSP Service Delivery Management Experience

·       Identify opportunities to empower L1/L2 teams (MSP’s) to take over lower complexity tasks

·       Coordinate and deploy patching strategy and remediations in compliance with security and testing policies

·       Work with the Platform teams to create / validate patch deployments and resolve L3 issues

·       Monitoring request, incident, and problem queues to ensure Security SLAs are met.

·       Analyze weekly and monthly reporting as delivered by the security operations team to identify and resolve issues

DIMENSIONS

  • Ideal candidate must possess security operations background in a Global Organization
  • Provide leadership in the areas of customer support and interaction, adherence to policies and processes, coordination with other IT development and support groups
  • Ability to multitask with a broad knowledge across infrastructure (i.e. Servers, Storage, Network, Cloud Solutions -Azure and AWS, etc.)
  • Able to articulate issues in terms of business risk and opportunities
  • Possess oral, written and presentation skills,
  • Willingness to learn, be a team player and a strong cross functional partner
  • Willingness to operate in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Business or equivalent experience.

  • AWS or Azure implementation experience
  • 5 years or more in a global environment
  • Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently within a demanding client centric environment
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management
  • Profession certification (i.e. PMP, ITIL) strongly preferred
  • Portuguese and French is a plus.
