The Role

Digital marketing is an important pillar of Kiehl's business strategy, including the role of Community & Social Media Manager to build the Kiehl's brand as a "love" brand. 


Main responsibilities:

Side by side with colleagues from Marketing, Digital & Influencer Marketing, you will communicate on Kiehl's digital channels, shape the brand and drive growth. You will be responsible for our own social media platform. You develop new concepts, target group-relevant content for Kiehl's social media channels and build a loyal community to ensure that Kiehl's is perceived as a Top of Mind skincare brand in Austria, Switzerland and Germany.


Responsibility of Kiehl's owned social media channels 

  • Development and implementation of the growth strategy 
  • Editorial Planning, Content management & creation for Kiehl's owned Social Media Channels
  • Operational social media management – in charge of our owned social media channels 
  • Answering comments around Kiehl’s Brand (positive / negative comments, creating the buzz & love by interacting with comments)
  • Continuous identification and evaluation of trends in the social media environment and apply them into our content strategy 
  • Test & Learn new types of content and platforms
  • Strong analytical skills: reporting and recommendations on channel development, content and campaigns; Monitoring, analysis and evaluation of social media activities 


Strengthening and responsibility of the community management of Kiehl's owned social media channels

  • Create a community of influencers to develop the brand into a love brand 
  • (Daily) interaction and activation of this community 
  • Selecting and collaborating with nano-influencers and collaborators to create UGC for our social platform
  • Host regular events – digitally or physically to strengthen the community
  • Strong analytical skills: Monthly campaign reporting

 

Your profile:

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the field of social media and influencer marketing
  • Excellent communication and networking skills as well as the ability to create interfaces 
  • Strong digital expertise as well as affinity for new media 
  • Fast adopter & learner of new tool 
  • Enjoyment of entrepreneurship and creativity
  • Outstanding project management and analysis skills
  • Ability to drive change and inspire others
  • Ability to create content on social networks is a plus
