Overview

The eRetail Media Assistant Manager is responsible for running paid search and display media campaigns hands-on-keyboard and/or with agencies across platforms for ACD Brands: Cerave, La Roche-Posay, Vichy and Dermablend. This involves building, monitoring and optimizing data-driven paid search and display media campaigns, contributing to the strategy with internal stakeholders, partnering with external agencies to ensure the campaign craft is built to achieve business goals, and being hands-on in other related media activation in order to fuel the sales planned for the eRetail channels.

Candidate must have eCommerce experience, have strong analytical, writing and research skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to successfully bring projects to life. Must be a clear communicator, outgoing and able to champion ideas and strategic point of views with internal and external stakeholders. Strong emphasis on attention to detail, curiosity and interest to discover valuable insights, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools, for accuracy and efficiency. Must be interested in developing or sharpening media skill set, eager to learn and be challenged in an ever-changing Retail environment. Understands Media metrics and is excited by the business potential through tactical, efficient retail media strategies.

Overall Responsibilities 

  • Build, manage and optimize ACD media campaigns in-house (self-service) and/or with external partners (managed-service), including budget/bid settings, building audiences, creating campaigns, lines items and routinely optimizing ads to refine performance
  • Monitor and analyze all advertising campaigns, proactively propose solutions to under-performing ads, call out issues before they arise
  • Conduct market/competitive research, keyword mining, tracking organic growth, and other ad-hoc tasks
  • Support team with routine and urgent insight generation, thorough data deep dives, market research, search term demand trends, site landscape, audience behaviors, consumer patterns and other related data requests
  • Maintain media management files across ACD brands / account managers, including, but not limited to, product catalog & categorization, activity calendar, and keyword lists for multiple eRetail accounts
  • Implementing changes and optimizing campaigns based on insights reported and brand objectives
  • Manage media spend and monthly phasing with brand teams for appropriate pacing, payments, and budget adjustments, reconcile media invoices and track ad-serving spends
  • Strong liaising with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure campaigns are on strategy for the brands, and strong partnership with the sales team to ensure campaigns are on strategy with retailer objectives and real time updates
  • Ensure paid performance reports / data exports are maintained per established processes, and help update monthly dashboard with brands / accounts managers to capture new brand insights to drive the business and identify issues before they arise
  • Collaborate with internal Brand, Account and Search teams to share best practices and implement learnings
  • Active monitoring and sharing of industry news, on-line marketing trends, industry tools, and internal cross-team key learning

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in digital or retail media management, on the brand, retailer or agency side, especially Criteo, Kenshoo or related agencies. Hands-on-keyboard execution and management is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Media and eCommerce/Retailer Market
  • Advanced in Excel, data analysis and visual modeling
  • Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint programs.  Ability to create high impact presentations
  • Experience analyzing performance data and summarizing / communicating findings via reports and presentations
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
  • Must demonstrate solid experience in pulling, mining, and synthesizing data into stories
  • Work comfortably in dynamic, time intensive environments where consistent fire drills and competing priorities are commonplace
  • High attention to detail with the ability to efficiently prioritize and flawlessly execute projects with quality
  • Comfortable in analyzing dashboards and utilizing spreadsheets with proficiency in excel formulas and pivot tables to extract and clearly communicate insights from murky data
  • Bias for action with a scrappy willingness to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile to persist and get the job done
  • Sense of ownership complemented by strong organization and project management skills to meet deadlines
