What You Will Learn:
L’Oréal is looking for innovative, curious, and ambitious MBA students to join our highly competitive MBA summer internship program. This is your exclusive path to receive a full-time offer into our Chief of Staff Program upon graduation. Based in our New York, NY headquarters, the internship runs 11 weeks during the summer between your 1st and 2nd year of business school. You will:
Be a part of a marketing team on one of our brands within the Luxe Division owning day-to-day brand responsibilities and contributing to the business
Lead an individual project addressing a specific business problem and present to senior leadership
Have a robust summer experience with cross-functional exposure (Marketing, Digital, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&I and Sales)
Be an active participant across formal and informal learning opportunities and networking events
With 30+ global brands, interns will be exposed to diverse business models, channels of distribution, career opportunities and mentoring from top brand managers in the beauty industry.
Responsibilities and project assignments will vary from brand to brand based on the business objectives. Marketing Summer Intern responsibilities will integrate them with the brand team in all day-to-day activities, including:
New Product Launch Management
Digital Marketing including CRM, paid search, Business Analytics, A/B testing
Advertising and Media
eCommerce
Forecasting and Financial Analysis
Competitive Marketplace Analysis
Consumer Insights
Sales and Data Analysis
Brand Promotions
Product Development and Trend Recommendations
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in a two-year MBA program with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2024.
5-6 years of professional work experience (beauty industry experience is NOT required)
Lead with both an analytical and creative marketing mindset
Advanced in Excel, data analysis with experience analyzing performance data and summarizing / communicating findings via reports and internal/external stakeholder presentations.
Must demonstrate solid experience in pulling, mining, and synthesizing data into strategic business strategies
Effective and impactful communicator including strong storytelling and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage complex, ambiguous situations
Partners effectively with others to collaborate across multiple internal and external stakeholders
Proactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial environment where new ideas are championed
Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organized with proven multi-tasking ability
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship.

Compensation: $45-48 per hour (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
