For our reality, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Plant, located in Settimo Torinese (Turin).
Mission💪
Guarantee the full availability of the flows facilities to serve the Production Units for the distribution of packaging articles and raw materials and for the picking of finished products, acting with a view to continuous improvement.
Main responsibilities
- Analysis of indicators and monitoring of production and stock trends in order to identify the priorities and losses of the department by proposing and implementing possible solutions
- Project management: planning, managing and coordinating the implementation phases of projects in order to ensure the improvement of the performance, productivity and safety of the system, both in the short and long term.
- Coordinate new projects (e.g. insertion of new handling equipment – AGVs, handling tools, organization of flows for the arrival of new lines, reorganization of spaces, digitalization and introduction of new IT tools, etc.) by using planification tools, applying methods and creating routines for follow up
- Implement solutions to optimize flows related to operations in the department through the provision of solutions, procedures, documentation
- Define/Construct (e.g. customer waiting time indicator due to plant flows; availability indicators - AGV, indicators of hours of non-operation compared to total opening hours - automatic warehouse, indicators of receiving and shipping bays) on the basis of which to monitor the system
- Define, conduct and coordinate training actions for cooperative staff and colleagues, disseminating of good practices (OPL) in order to act with a view to continuous improvement
Profile
- Master’s degree in management or industrial production engineering
- Fluent in English and French - Italian is a plus
- Proficiency in Office tools and data analyst – AutoCAD is a plus
- Previous project management experiences
- Capability to build relationship with different stakeholders, both external and into the Plant
- A good level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
- Cooperative, solution-focused approach, and strong communication skills
- Interest for the Operations context
