The SAPMENA Zone Transformation team is a dynamic group of change management experts dedicated to propelling business growth. The team is focused on Zone-wide strategic programs that will range across new ways of working, operating models amongst others, all geared towards helping the business drive measurable and meaningful business outcomes.  


Role Overview 


As part of SAPMENA Transformation team, you will play a central role in driving and accelerating business transformation projects to deliver value and enhance adoption. Projects will mainly be reactive in nature, of high intensity and will be focused on working with our business divisions at both the regional and local level to drive positive business outcomes such as improving business revenues or simplifying complicated business processes. 


Given the complex and competitive space our business divisions work within, our preferred candidate profile for this role should have prior consulting experience along with significant exposure to the retail industry.  


Key Responsibilities 


> Transformation community engagement 

  • Build and engage the transformation community across SAPMENA  
  • Organise and prepare community engagement activities via Townhall, Microsoft Teams community etc. 
  • Be the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on transformation &/or change management activities 
  • Draft and edit executive-level communications, reports, and presentations to provide SAPMENA overview to relevant stakeholders 

> Project Management 

  • Work closely with business process owner to scope, frame and monitor the project deliverables across multiple markets 
  • Country animation: prepare & follow up on action implementation of country meetings, track country adoption 
  • Manage and mitigate potential issues or risks to ensure timely completion of project and within budget 
  • Consult &/or implement change management initiatives to drive project adoption 
  • Provide timely status reports to the relevant stakeholders and steering committees 


Key Requirements 

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience working within a project and change management role or related discipline. Experience in consulting, in-house transformation roles is a plus. 
  • Proven track record in project management by leading multiple projects or programs which have delivered real change in relation to business outcomes. 
  • Ability to apply analytical thinking to comprehend business needs, convert them into requirements, develop and execute a business implementation and change plan 
  • Experience in working with data, drawing insights, developing reporting templates, and devising practical data-driven solutions 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to reach out and build collaborative stakeholder relationships across different levels in a highly matrixed organization. 
  • Ability to coordinate tasks with cross-functional team, manage project progress and achieve deliverables in a timely manner 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment and work independently to get things done with minimal supervision within the deadline 
  • Positive mindset, open minded and fast learner – Able to learn/adopt new knowledge quickly.
