A Day in the Life
As a Trade Activation Specialist for the Consumer Products Division in Romania, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of beauty at L’Oréal. Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative shopper marketing strategies, collaborating with sales, marketing, and key retail partners to drive growth and enhance brand presence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute data-driven go-to-market (GTM) strategies and brand activation plan across your assigned categories, channels, and clients.
- Retailer Collaboration: Create compelling retailer selling stories and customized proposals for key retailers, ensuring a shopper-centric approach to maximize sales and brand/category presence.
- Shopper Activation: Design and implement impactful shopper marketing activities, respecting company commercial policies, brand equity, and retailer strategies.
- Performance Analysis & ROI Optimization: Analyze retailer data after key events and marketing activations, manage budgets effectively, and optimize ROI for all activities.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with Key Account Managers, Consumer Market Insights (CMI), commercial, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution and maximize results.
We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, ideally within the beauty or FMCG industry.
- Analytical Thinker: Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Retail & Shopper Expert: Deep understanding of retail dynamics and shopper behavior, with the ability to translate insights into effective marketing strategies.
- Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize ROI for marketing activities.
- Collaborative Partner: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Results-Oriented: A strong drive to achieve results and exceed expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant analytical tools.
