We are looking for an experienced and ambitious marketer to join our Purchasing Team. Yes, your marketing skills are a priority here.

As the Nordic Marketing Services Buyer, you will add value to the business by managing our portfolio of marketing agencies. You will have the overall responsibility for all marketing sourcing projects for all divisions in the Nordics and will act as an implant in the CDMO team for the Nordics, working closely with the Marketing Director.

We invest heavily in this area and constantly strive to maximise our return on investment.

You will be part of a dynamic Nordic organization in a fast-paced organization and the role is seen as as both a bridge between functions but a career step for marketing professionals looking to expand their agency relationship as well as campaign effectiveness knowledge.

The role reports directly to the Nordic Purchasing Director. 

Your key job accountabilities:

  • Planning, leading and delivering the agency roster to make L’Oréal’s ambitions of a complete digital consumer journey; media, influencer, CRM, content ecosystem a reality
  • Lead all major pitch processes together with key stakeholders
  • Improve L’Oréal’s agency contracts and agency relations to deliver measurable value add, market share, top-line growth and profitability
  • Delivering purchasing savings, based on cost
  • Understand, prioritise and reduce/remove the risk of data privacy risks in all our supplier dealings. Educate the Purchasing team
  • Assure L’Oreal maximises its agency talent pool
  • Ensure compliance of suppliers to L’Oreal’s norms and achieve internal audit satisfaction regarding all agency pitches and contracts
  • Evaluate and manage risks, performance, and efficiency

Your profile: 

  • You have +3 years of experience with marketing and digital tools & platforms 
  • You are a credible and confident business partner who understands where the Business is going
  • Brand marketing knowledge
  • You have experience in interaction with media, influencer and content agencies
  • Previous work with a media performance auditor is advantageous but not a must
  • You can engage and understand a large network of diverse stakeholders across CDMO team as well as all 4 divisions
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivator and motivator of colleagues
  • You find innovative ways of solving old and new problems
  • You are a ‘finisher’
  • You like being curious
  • Bridge-builder – meeting people internal and external to learn new ways of doing things or new tech
  • Strategic: able to plan 2 years ahead
  • Great communicator – use a compelling vision to inspire your stakeholders
  • Being able to translate your vision into contracts and tangible KPIs
