Your mission... 

As the Retail Activation Manager for the food, discount and variety channel, your mission is to ensure flawless implementation of the Channel Activation plan at your local retailers. You will drive sell out for B&M (bricks & mortar) together with field sales team with clear priorities. In addition, you will coordinate the in-store activation between KAM, Reps, POS Manager & Channel Activation Manager incl. timings, POS & other materials needed, as well as develop all material to support the reps in their sell-in journey. 


You will...   

  • Ensure implementation of Channel Activation Plan at retailer level   
  • Coordinate activations timings for your country & channel in collaboration with Channel Activation Manager 
  • Support Channel Activation Manager & KAM to size activations vs benchmark  
  • Ensure timely delivery of go-to-market packages in collaboration with Channel Activation Manager & POS Managers 
  • Support field team with all relevant sell-in material & ongoing support 
  • Secure info flow from POS Manager/KAM/other functions to field and feed office functions with info from field 
  • Coordination with local agency of merchandising efforts at client level: from warehouse to clients  
  • Be responsible for ensuring testers for your clients  
  • Collaborate with Retail Education to secure training to team and retailer partners (brands/categories) 
  • Facilitate half-year meetings with retailers in collaboration with Channel Activation Manager & KAMs


Your profile...  

  • You have +3 years of experience from a comparable job in an FMCG marketing department.  
  • Great communication skills and enjoy building strong relations to various stakeholders – external as well as internal 
  • Effective, structured and hands-on approach, with close attention to details 
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills 
  • You have in-depth experience leading marketing activities in your previous career 
  • You are proactive and can work independently 
  • You know how to follow-up and follow-through 
  • You are native in Finnish and fluent in English
