We are hiring for an exciting new position in the L’Oréal LUXE team that will be a crossing between a retail brand manager position and a visual merchandising position.  
As Retail Brand and Visual Merchandising Manager you will manage the day-to-day marketing activities on LUXE key growth drivers,Kiehl’s and IT Cosmetics, and it is your responsibility to drive a long-term local retail marketing strategy and a short term execution for these brands in-line with the Nordic strategy.  At the same time, you will be in charge of maintaining, developing, and implementing merchandising material for several L’Oréal Luxe brands, and support the Norwegian Commercial team in growth. It is your responsibility to map and fully understand the local consumer journey, together with driving the 360° marketing plan and strategy across our omni-channel distribution. The tasks are varied and require both strategic thinking as well as a logistic and project management. 

You will work hand in hand with the Nordic Brand Leaders and the Nordic Merchandising team as well as the rest of the brand teams to execute outstanding marketing and merchandising initiatives and drive the success of these brands in Norway. 

Your key job accountabilities:
  • Drives and adapts the Regional Brand marketing and trade strategy to maximize local relevancy
  • Translates local consumer insights into marketing and selling opportunities and drives continuous improvement of in-store consumer experience
  • Defines the launch and promotional calendar across our clients, working closely with Commercial Teams, Product Marketing and Brand Leaders
  • Adapts plans throughout the year depending on sales performance, lately observed trends, competitor campaigns and successes
  • Drives campaign performance analysis
  • Ordering and implementing the merchandising solutions for all permanent, launch and activation merchandising, answering local marketing plan needs 
  • Co-undertaking the conception, development and follow-up of flagship stores and perfumeries with Nordic brand and category teams
  • Coordinating the conception, production, delivery, installation and follow-up of any kind of local specific materials, launch materials such as visuals and POS (point-of-sale) material + budget follow up
  • In collaboration and alignment with Nordic brand teams and Category Managers, planning and executing demo stands and customer events
  • Ensuring efficient coordination and flawless communication between Nordic brand marketing team, Category management teams and Retail Sales Coordinators.
Your profile:
  • For you to be succesful in this job, we expect you to have a relevant educational background on Master level and +3 years of experience from a comparable job in an international marketing department. 
  • Great communication skills and enjoy building strong relationships to various stakeholders – external as well as internal
