The Active Cosmetics Division is the world leader in Dermocosmetics, enjoying double digit growth in the UK and Ireland for several consecutive years as a result of increased awareness and customer advocacy. The division includes four brands: La Roche-Posay, Vichy, Skinceuticals. The brands are sold in healthcare outlets worldwide, including pharmacies, drugstores, medi-spas and physician’s offices. Our brands are developed and endorsed by health professionals, including dermatologists, pediatricians and cosmetic doctors

The Territory Manager will be part of a highly motivated team who are dedicated to servicing a number of Accounts, ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered consistently. As Territory Manager you will be responsible for growing L’Oreal’s Active C0smetics business within your accounts using a collaborative approach and striving towards mutually beneficial outcomes.

Purpose of your new role

To maintain and develop an existing account base of pharmacies within a given territory.  Previous experience of working in the pharmacy sector is preferable and a distinct advantage. You must be able to demonstrate the drive, determination and enthusiasm to succeed in a commercially focused business. In addition a knowledge of e commerce is a key driver to the business and its important to Work with E-Retail to support and influence sales opportunities for independent stores

Your key job accountabilities

  • Build effective and profitable relationships within accounts
  • Manage promotional planning in each account
  • Ensure brands are merchandised correctly using the latest proposals from Category Management
  • Achieve growth, revenue & volume objectives, by using innovative sales & marketing solutions
  • Train and engage customers on new products
  • Develop e retail plans and support accounts where required

Essential skills required

  • Full clean driving licence
  • At least three years previous field sales experience in a relationship focused sales environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong analytical and budget management skills
  • Strong administration and organisational skills and ability to multi task and prioritise with minimal supervision
  • Creative problem solving ability
  • Pro-active team player
  • PC skills – Word, excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of e retail
