Missions

Responsibilities and main missions:

As IT EMEA Infrastructure SAP Manager, you are responsible for ensuring availability and performance of SAP business applications and services within IT EMEA, including day to day operations, management of technical transformation, and support of functional evolutions.

As part of this role, you will manage a team of SAP experts and external providers, and will collaborate with architecture, third party providers, service delivery teams as well as functional and applications teams. Your mission will be articulated around the following main fields:

SAP Operations & Run Excellence

  • Responsible for day to day management of availability and performance of SAP applications, according to agreed SLAs
  • Manage Incident, Request, Problem, Change (incl. Maintenance) and Crisis within the SAP Service
  • Accountable for SAP Capacity Management, HW resources usage (CPU, RAM, Disk)
  • Accountable for Asset and Configuration Management
  • Responsible for operating procedures and documentation
  • Engage and sustain continuous improvement process, by implementing SAP Best Practices, Automation, End to End monitoring, architecture changes, service improvements, migrations, replatforming, DevOps model implementation etc.

SAP Project & Technical Development

  • Provide Expertise for SAP support & Project
  • Lead and participate in Move to Cloud transformation program on SAP scope
  • Responsible for SAP Infrastructure Roadmap: Plans, manages and is responsible for the delivery of SAP Infrastructure domain services
  • Manage portfolio of SAP projects (Move to cloud migrations, Upgrades, SAP Waves, Obsolescence, new functional features) and responsible for the quality of the delivery of scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Responsible for the security and compliancy of SAP Landscape (Security Notes & Security patches, Hardening, SAP Firewall rules, DRP exercises, Data encryption management, Yearly CAC audits participation, Security remediations)
  • Participate in SAP DevOps model deployment
  • Develop SAP infrastructure Service Line and Services catalog

Team Management

  • Define team evolution strategy from a service perspective
  • Manage team objectives with a SMART approach
  • Ensure technical and functional skill level of the team
  • Manage and develop operative Interface between Functional team, Service Delivery team, SAP Basis Experts, software vendors and solution experts for 3rd party solutions (OpenText, Libelle, Rev Trac)

Reporting & Finance

  • Financial review and forecast against budget and strategy
  • Identify cost reduction initiatives
  • Maintains process and measurement criteria to track and manage SAP services

·        Participate in Service Level management report

Skills

Experience:

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure SAP Manager with strong experience with SAP Operations management, including experience leading multiple projects, managing onshore, offshore resources and service provider, and experience with cloud technologies and architecture

The candidate will quickly demonstrate independence on his/her topics with a 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar position or environment.

Technical Skills:  

  • Strong SAP related skills (SAP Application, S4/HANA, Open Text, Archiving, Rev Trac).
  • Strong skills in ITIL processes.
  • Experience in DevOps / Agile methodology in a SAP context, improving operational efficiency (automation) and time to market to deliver new solutions / evolutions.
  • Strong experience of outsourced operations.
  • Good skills in financial management of services and IT activities

Professional Skills:

  • Strong communication and networking skills at various levels.
  • Open mind & curiosity.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Strong experience in management of outsourced SAP services.

Qualifications:
