[L'Oreal Korea] LD  - Data Manager

Key Job Accountabilities 

To lead the data strategy together with CRM & Data director, to drive the data/analytic projects & initiatives for generating practical/actionable insight by using external/internal data, we are seeking for a data manager (or Sr. Specialist) who can contribute to Luxe brands & customer growth, marketing optimization with data.


Strategic/Analytic initiatives lead for Luxe division/brands

  1. Data insight/direction generation for customer growth strategy (Department Store, Online Channels, EBTQ)
  2. Key analytic task lead for market/customer/channel/product level data insight (including competitors’) & Regular data/analytic committee lead by analyzing the external (Research/Channel data) & internal data
  3. Data/Marketing Insight sharing with the collaboration of brand teams/functions (CRM/Media/ECOM/Retail)

Data Strategy design & Fundamental Data project lead/participation

    1. Optimization of analytic dashboard & Self-service BI (SPACE Analytic) with data governance design
    2. Long-term data strategy design, specification of key initiatives with clear roadmap
    3. Data marketing optimization w. mar-tech tool (SPACE-CDP, SFMC for CRM/Media/EBTQ campaign upgrade)
    4. Resource management & maximization of data analyst team in CRM Agency
    5. Data Management (processing, classifying, refining) with the collaboration among key stakeholders

  • Education: University graduate
  • Years of experience: more than 10 years 
  • Required: more than 5 years of Data Analytic/CRM experience or Career background of Strategic/Analytic project lead)
  • Cosmetic/FMCG/Luxury Company, Research Company (is a plus)
  • E-commerce/Start-up/Platform company (Strategic/Analytic/Data Marketing part)
  • Distribution (department store, duty free, retail, etc.)/Fashion company.
  • Credit card (or other finance company)/Telecom company.

4. Preferred: 

  • Success experience of strategic/analytic project lead (Customer/Product/Marketing) *strategic consulting or data analytic project, data agency lead experience included.
  • Success experience of Analytic Dashboard Optimization lead (Looker/PBI/Tableau etc.)
  • Impactful customer/business contribution case or experience within below topic
        • Success case of hypothesis/analysis based on customer problem-solving & business impact
        • Success case of business application participating in data foundation building project
        • Experience of Growth marketing or analytic initiative based on subject-matter of mar-tech
        • Experience of innovative CRM program planning or Media marketing optimization
  • Experience of managing analytic tasks with collaborative communication capability
  • Self-motivated, curious to understand/solve customer’s fundamental problems
  • Highly motivated to the data-driven/agile organizational culture & methodology
  • Prioritization capability, Focus & concentration mindset with the multiple problems
  1. Language: Fluent in both Korean and English
  2. Other skills: Proficient with Excel, PPT, Word, Other Mar-tech tools
  3. Professional: Prioritization & Problem-solving skill at fast-paced work environment.
