[L'Oreal Korea] Corporate Communications Manager


As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will work as part of the Loreal Korea Corporate Affairs & Engagement team and report to the Corporate Affairs Director for Loreal Korea, and be expected to do the following, to support the development and protection of the group’s internal and external reputation: 

1. External Communications 
  • Support the development and execution of a 360 external communication strategy for Loreal Korea in line with the business and group communication strategy 
  • Create a key messaging framework and assets for communication in Korea, including a comprehensive content calendar for media and social media  
  • Liaise closely with the brand communications teams to ensure consistency in communications strategy and approach  
  • Lead all the communications activity to ensure a consistent tone and voice across all communications
  • Manage media relations by developing strong relationships with key journalists and providing first level response to media inquiries 
  • Manage and brief external agencies from brief to execution, including budget management and KPIs. 
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and social conversations for Loreal Korea   
  • Support the Corporate Affairs Director to manage crisis response initiatives, develop response strategy and execute accordingly

2. CSR and Sustainability 
  • Lead execution of global programs such as For Women in Science  
  • Develop and execute locally relevant CSR campaigns in line with the group strategy  
  • Provide support on sustainability programs by working closely with the Loreal for the Future committee 

3. Employee Engagement 
  • Initiate, develop, and manage employee engagement programs in Loreal Korea
  • Liaise with various corporate functions within the group to ensure consistency in messaging and tone and manner across all communications 
  • Drive the communication on Loreal’s sense of purpose to inspire and engage employees in Korea

  • Education: University graduate
  • Years of experience: 10+ years
  • Experience
    - Previous experience in PR and media relations preferred
    - Ideally, someone with experience in beauty or FMCG
    - Excellent presentation and communication skills
    - Ability to work in a matrix organization with different stakeholders 
  • Language: Fluent in both Korean and English
