Category Focus

a)         Follow the defined purchasing norm to ensure tender process are compliant and effectively implemented at any level.

b)         Responsible for procurement activities, evaluate supplier capability and identify quality supplier sources based on company procurement policy and process, and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders and conduct savings in an efficient and effective manner.

c)         Conduct the RFX (information, proposal and quotation) process including facilitating the evaluation process and presenting of recommendations.

d)         Negotiate the contract terms and conditions with suppliers, with TCO mindset.

e)         Maintain strategic reviewing of spending, conduct market intelligence, source and manage suppliers and implement the sourcing strategy.

f)          Share and promote Purchasing Policy, processes to suppliers & stakeholders

g)         Proactively identifying opportunities, engaging, and partnering with marketing stakeholders, suppliers to deliver the overall Marketing Category performance and financial targets.

h)         Has deep knowledge and expertise in Digital Marketing field, focus on 1. KOL/livestream management; 2. Rights & IP management; 3. PR communication & online event

i)           Conduct extensive and thorough risk / CSR reviews and incorporate risk and CSR strategies into Category Strategies and planning activities.

j)           Identify key suppliers, monitor value creation targets, measure supplier performance base on those. Implement development and innovation programs with key suppliers.

Stakeholder Engagement

k)         Have good insight into innovation, and innovative supplier development to support group digitalization targets

l)           Develop strong relationship with key Business stakeholders and other functions such as Finance, HR, and Legal to ensure involvement and engagement in functional decision by offering Procurement’s point of view and / or alternative solutions to Business priorities and challenges.

Experiences

·       6+ years overall business experience and 5+ years in-depth strategic and operational procurement experience with good knowledge of Marketing category management.

·       Purchasing in FMCG, Retail industry

·       Demonstrated experience in managing RFP projects with excellent communication and project management skills

·       University degree

Skills

·       Good communication skill in both Chinese and English, strong negotiation skill.

·       Proven financial and business acumen (i.e. total cost of ownership, cost modelling). Good data analysis kill

·       Expert proficiency in Procurement specific systems and processes for efficient management of sourcing events and contract negotiations (e.g. SAP, Ariba…etc. ).
