Depending on your level, you will be involved or responsible for some or the following general responsibilities:

Brand Finance Candidates:

  • Prepare financial schedules, reports and presentations for the budget, trend and three-year plan for specific Division product lines
  • Manage cost control and conduct budget meetings with departmental and brand managers related to advertising, promotions, displays, GWP and capital commitments, and other related expenses
  • Analyze assigned Brand/Division results comparative to budget/trend forecast and provide explanation of significant variances
  • Analyze B/S accounts and prepare reconciliations
  • Perform variance analysis of actual v. budget for P&L accounts and cost centers
  • Works with business partners and external agencies to revamp current Media process and bring about process improvement

Commercial/Sales Finance Candidates:

  • Support trade spending budget and monitor actual spending v. forecast
  • Maintain full year trade spending expense by category and customer, above and below the line - trade deals, BOGOs, Rollbacks and displays, and by month
  • Issue monthly executive trade spend reports
  • Work closely with field sales personnel to monitor trade spend
  • Document opportunities and risks to trade spending plans
  • Perform financial analysis on promotional funding request from field sales (ROI, Net Sales Lift, Cost per incremental unit, etc.)
  • Analyze trade promotion results by (1) account, (2) type of event, (2) versus other accounts and (3) channel

HQ / Planning, Analysis and Report Consolidation Candidates:

  • Consolidate, validate, prepare & report on Executive meetings
  • Prepare, analyze and transmit a variety of divisional finance reports in accordance with reporting requirements
  • Inform senior management and finance team about financial conditions within their assigned area as necessary
  • Liaise with central teams in France, as well as local divisional & operations teams.
  • COMPASS (TM-1) management of actual/budget/trend data
  • Liaise with Finance teams of North America (US & Canada) for trouble shooting and sharing of best practices
