ACD Distribution Coordinator
The Distribution Coordinator works closely with internal groups, such as Operations Management (Picking Shipping & Receiving), Inventory Control, and Transportation. This role will support the ACD operation in daily warehouse distribution functions in order to provide an efficient fulfillment of customer orders per organizational policies and procedures.  
Position Description:
  • Provides subject matter expertise on internal ACD processes, controls and compliance
  • Coordinates repacks and reworks
  • Reviews daily new items to be slotted into picking modules
  • Creates locations for picking including appropriate signage
  • Coordinates the ongoing review of delivery holds in the DC
  • Supports employee’s daily operational needs such as badges, SAP account creation, Fastenal setup and other functions as needed to ensure proper information flow and communication with the operations team
  • Management of “Error Status” waves by communicating promptly to the team as to the steps needed to fix the waves
  • Coordinates DC supply purchases with vendors and internal teams. Maintains records of the supplies needed including vendor information, part numbers and monthly usage. 
  • Performs other duties and tasks as needed such as
o Report generation
o Information flow to other departments
o Coordination of special projects and other operational requests such us repacks and reworks
  • Function as back up for transportation analysts for waving & processing shipments, communication with carriers and submitting proper paperwork for shipments
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required  
  • 2 years of Hands-on experience in a fast paced, high volume distribution environment preferred
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, through letters/emails/reports, and/or over the phone
  • Ability to learn and teach new system transactions
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Experience working with SAP or a similar WMS is preferred.
  • Must be flexible, organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to wear protective eyewear, footwear, hand protection (gloves) and safety vests
  • Requires the ability to act independently without direct supervision as well as to support a team to accomplish critical and timely objectives
  • A self-motivated team-player with a positive attitude
