The Online + Offline interactions of L’Oréal with our consumers are instrumental for the success of our Brands.
 Governing the data related to these interactions is the mission of the consumer 0+0 activation data domain.
 With specific challenges linked to :
 - Data privacy : a non negociable frame
 - External & changing data sources : yes, our consumers have the bad habit of changing habits!


The O+O data asset is getting wider and wider.
Currently more than 15 sources related to  media, influence, search, and consumer direct relationship can be safety, easily and efficiently 
accessed. 
More and more usecase rely on O+O  data asset to deliver business value at full speed.
 

Yet, the scope of our data set has to be enlarged , in order to cover a wider part of our consumer touch points.
And we want to accelerate on this, with NO compromise on quality which is instrumental for the adoption and the value of our data asset.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO IN NUTSHELL!


We can summarize your missions in 3 main objectives:

  • Building the Data Domain Layer to ensure the availability/quality of data needed for AI and analytics use cases (integration, acquisition, cleansing, harmonization and structuring in layers of Data-platform)
  • building new data assets or piloting their build in relationship with regions, 
  • fostering adoption by supporting usecases and securing quality 
  • Work closely with the IT and Business Owners to align with the enterprise data strategy and governance
  • Support the data needs of teams systems and products across different use cases

 

IF YOU WANT TO GO FURTHER INTO DETAIL, THIS IS WHAT YOU COULD EXPECT TO DO


  • Define use case data strategy and vision with the functional Product Owner and IT group. The resulting data model must be agnostic versus use cases.
  • Gap analysis: assess “as is” data assets versus use cases requirements, then define and build data acquisition needs and quality expectations.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional business requirements.
  • Identify integration needs for further use cases data acquisition.
  • Structure datasets in various layers of data platform.
  • Prepare data for use cases by creating governed Business Objects.
  • Co-design analytics tools with functional Product Owner and IT to leverage the structured data.
  • Define key success metrics.
  • Create test scenarios and supervise data validation with testing factory.

First and foremost, we love people that are curious, collaborative, eager to have an impact and who value innovation, autonomy, and team spirit.

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to:

  • Have an Engineering or Business Education background, with a Data orientation
  • Have more than 2 years of previous experience. Could be more depending on positions
  • Be very Data Driven with strong analytic skills
  • Show great interest in our functional Business specificities
  • Have a strong understanding of Agile (Scrum certification is a big plus)
  • Have some Cloud Platform knowledge.

And finally, you may not be an expert with all requirements listed below, however, you must show great curiosity in understanding the non-mastered technologies such as SQL or GCP
