JOB TITLE:                 Coordinator, Continuing Education

DEPARTMENT:           Education (Continuing Education)

REPORTS TO:            Manager, Continuing Education Programs

LOCATION:                St. Petersburg, Florida




The Continuing Education (CE) function develops, implements and administers the guidelines, policies and procedures that enable SalonCentric to provide CE to licensed professionals through its Education classes and events.  The CE Coordinator assists the Manager with various aspects of the CE function.



  • Maintain CE database records, including:
    • Maintain complete and accurate attendee records for all SalonCentric classes, shows and events.
    • Dataload attendees and necessary information for all classes offering CE.
    • Compile up-to-date records of all artists teaching in states offering CE.
    • Assist customers with attendee records for all classes offering CE for up to 5 years
  • Ensure receipt of attendee CE information from stores, salons and SSCs, and assist in reporting of attendee information to the appropriate state agencies.
  • Create various class and attendee reports.
  • Provide support to Show team in coordination and execution of CE activities within shows offering CE.
  • Attend occasional education events and tradeshows to provide operational assistance/support.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager, CE Programs.



  • 1-3 years of similar professional experience, preferably in education administration; experience within salon industry desirable.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel/Word/Outlook and, open to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, High school education or GED required.
