Role
 

Supports the AVP of Sales Compensation & Analytics in the administrative and technical tasks associated with the management of the Sales Division. Provides support to sales organization by way of Direct relationship with the Regional Vice President / Directors and District Manager team to analyze business trends, compensation changes, control costs and accomplish overall corporate objectives. Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
  • Collect data and transfer into a new format to make more appropriate for analysis and dashboarding
  • Build tools to automate data and data collection
  • Ability to recommend system and/or process improvement solutions to enhance productivity and/or efficiency
  • Create reports and presentations based on business need
  • Work collaboratively with other analysts in cross-functional departments
  • Key point of contact for Commission related inquiries
  • Assist in maintenance of Compensation Management System; Experience with Xactly tool preferred, not required
  • Produces reports and data on an as-needed basis for special projects
  • Maintain high level of data confidentiality as role works with direct Sales Compensation

Candidate Experience and Competencies

  • Business Degree in related field preferred
  • At least 3-5­ years experience working in analytics or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications with an emphasis on Excel, Access, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot; Proficient and comfort with technology and addressing troubleshooting routine technological issues
  • Well versed in SQL, DAX, and MDX
  • Proven experience building models and placing models into production
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail; ability to produce highly accurate documents and work products in a demanding environment
  • Exceptional organization skills.  Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Flexible to accommodate last minute changes and demands from multiple sources
  • Excellent communication skills; listening, speaking, and written
  • Strong verbal/communication skills; Ability to communicate/translate data or system information to client/appropriate user/audience
  • Experience presenting to Sr Leadership
  • Extremely well organized. Able to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
  • High level of professionalism and sound judgment in dealing with senior managers; effectively builds relationships and resources at all levels of the organization
  • Highly proactive; takes initiative to begin and complete projects; masterful at follow-up and tracking work projects; anticipates and executes tasks before being asked
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills. Strong administrative and leadership skills to maintain high standards and coordinate staff effectively
  • Ability to motivate employees is important
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative, judgment, decisiveness, confidence and discretion
