Position: Business Intelligence Manager

Department: Sales Department at Active Cosmetics Division

Role purpose:

To drive Sales and Medical force effectiveness and maximize ACD performance via providing tools, analytical support, insights and expertise. Thanks to statistical and analytical skills, combined with financial and commercial acumen, BI Team Manager supports Commercial, Medical and Financial Functions make optimal decisions, based on a mix of rigorous analysis.

KEY responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing a team of Sales Analysts in Sales Department in close co-operation with Finance and Medical&Training Departments;
  • Manage priorities, expectations and BI Team’s daily work to secure support for various stakeholders and equipping them with reliable information for making operational and management decisions;
  • Development or implementation of best-in-class analytical techniques to deliver recommendation to business decisions;
  • Acting as a Leader in various projects connected with the deployment of Information Systems and change management;
  • Equip Commercial Team with tools to:
        > monitor of sales fundamentals results with focus on    distribution, visibility and HCP recommendation;
         > 
    track profitability (both customer and brands view) to challenge and build recommendation;

  • Securing constant improvement for sales & medical force effectiveness via setting in team quantitative and qualitative analysis of route-to-market – bringing recommendation and leading changes implementation;
  • Drive analysis agenda in the area of sales and medical by developing new reports and providing insights for optimization of budget, resource allocation, workload for teams bringing tangible business impacts;
  • Support in forecast and planning process via securing right process, tools and close cooperation with the Finance, Sales and Demand Planners Teams;
  • Improving processes and systems in the area of data management and reporting with the use of new technological solution;
  • Leading the process of Sales Bonus system settlement with proper communication in line with policies and deadlines;


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strategic thinking mindset and ability to build insights and business solutions based on data analyzes;
  • Teams and people management experience;
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong co-operation in cross-functional environment;
  • Min. 5 years of experience as business analyst / sales planner in an international organization;
  • Technical skills:
    • Fluent knowledge of Excel + key add-ons like Power Query, Power Pivot
    • Very good knowledge of any data visualization tool (Power BI preferred)
    • Documented work with the data warehouse
    • Experience with ERP system (SAP preferred)
    • Ability to program in any language is welcome
    • General knowledge of the principles of operation of SFA systems (track record on a specific example)
    • Knowledge of the functioning of CRM systems and workflows
  • High discipline in work planning;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Polish.
