Since March 2020, L’Oréal decided to launch a major business and information system program that aims  to deploy by mid-2024 a new Warehouse  Information system  (The Manhattan Active brand new software) over 42 distribution centers across the world pioneering and supporting a major transformation of our warehouse into fulfillment factories

ODES program polls about 10  Business experts and 7 solution IT experts from several nationalities that are designing the Core solution while implementing the first site with the support of the software editor, before rolling out across North and Latin America, Asia, Australia and Europe by the end of 2021.

The team size will double during the rollout phase with the integration of business L’Oréal business and solution expert coming from the different geographies, but also with external recruitment in order to prepare the creation of a worldwide L’Oréal Manhattan delivery center that will tackle in the future any support, enhancement and project activities for our fulfillment factories.

We can summarize your missions in 3 main objectives:

  • The position is a great opportunity to embark one of the major transformation programs at L’Oréal, in a moving environment and in close contact with the ECC to S4Hana enterprise twin’s program requesting a strong flexibility and ability to anticipate changes.
  • As a solution expert, the business analyst will become a core solution guardian and will have to combine strong technical skills and good understanding of business processes and specificities to deliver added value to the business.
  • In an agile way of working, the solution expert will produce desired outcomes without It to business governance support or design authority role: he will get people to change position or course of action through influence and discussion

Secondly, as part of a Domain of Expertise, it will be important for you to identify and analyze the options for improvement or design of IT applications. You will demonstrate ability to:

  • Support domain “business process owners” in the definition of their needs and translate them into recommendations for customizing/enhancement of IT applications.
  • Identify the relevant technical solution and application architectures required to meet the long-term technical and business needs.
  • Propose recommendations and ensure functional specification, testing and delivery of new solution feature to optimize or enhance the core solution.
  • Analyze the impact of proposed solutions on the domain processes
  • Experience in leading projects including interaction with contractors or other contributors from business or IT areas.
  • Speak in English.

And finally, you may not be an expert with all requirements listed below, however, you must show great curiosity in understanding the non-mastered technologies:

  • Experienced on similar position on SAP WM, MM or SD Manhattan software environment would be an added value
  • Experience in WMS, TMS, CMS rollout would be considered as added value
  • Experienced of project in an international context
