About the Role

 

Our Professional Products Division provides hair care and hair colour products and services to salons across New Zealand. Our brands include Kerastase, L’Oreal Professionnel, Redken, Pureology and Matrix. We partner with hairdressing salons, offering products made from the best technologies and offer superior training which is at the forefront of trends.

 

  • Based in Auckland, the role of Area Manager has a responsibility of achieving territory budget and growth objectives in conjunction with up-skilling and business development.
  • Effectively driving sales results within an existing client-base 
  • Evaluating and securing new business in your territory 
  • Assisting salon partners’ business growth by adding value through strong relationships, and professional business and marketing support. 
  • Achieving monthly sales targets and KPIs for existing clients.  
  • Reporting regularly on activity and opportunities 

  

About you

 

  • History of consistent success in sales and negotiation.
  • An ability to maintain and build relationships quickly, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to prioritise, thrive and demonstrate resilience in a demanding and changing environment.
  • The ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a wider team.
  • Attention to detail and sound business acumen.
  • The flexibility to travel out of Auckland up to 6 nights per cycle.
  • The ability to work in partnership with your manager and wider team to both grow existing business and to gain new business in the region.
