Job Summary 

This position oversees the deduction and credit function of the Consumer Products Division of L’Oreal USA as well as other relevant brands of similar customer base.  This individual is responsible for strategizing and leading team to achieve overall AR objectives realizing revenue and cost reduction opportunities.  This includes leading initiatives to support progressive and efficient practices, driving e2e solutions, identifying and communicating of potential p&l impacts, and strong collaboration with cross functional teams such as Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain. This person has key interactions with multiple levels in the organization.


Job Requirements 

  • Required: BA/BS  degree
  • Required: 10+ years business experience
  • Required: 5+ years people management experience 
  • Required: SAP systems knowledge. Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Travel up to 10%

Incumbent should possess:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent leadership and communication skills, and able to manage multiple priorities and multi-task
  • Strong understanding of the customer and supply chain
  • Proven ability to improve processes and department efficiencies, strong organizational and analytical skills, and willingness to travel
  • Strong technical skills
  • AI/robotic process automation experience a plus

Judgment and decision making from multiple and significant perspectives is required. Judgment and decision making will be autonomous.  Supervision required is none.

1.  Provide leadership to Deduction & Credit department employees to ensure department objectives are met. Achieve DSO objectives and A/R directives by working closely with internal team, internal cross functional teams, and external customers to ensure established goals are met. Oversee the effective management of credit lines, new customer set ups, deduction authorizations and write-offs.



2.  Represent L’Oreal USA and utilize excellent communication skills in meetings with major customers.



3.  Keep senior management and finance team informed about areas of opportunity or concern within their area while ensuring respective teams are taking actions needed.


4.  Identify potential optimization opportunities and drive efforts to continuously improve Department effectiveness.
