In the department of EI, we are looking for an associate expert.

As an associate expert, your main responsibilities are : 
  • Lead instrumental/clinical projects for scalp.
  • Independently design, plan and execute high-quality instrumental/clinical efficacy study based on test brief with compliance to ethic and local regulation. Analyze clinical result to find product strength and key insights, and brief to project team. 
  • Collaborate with project manager, formulation, regulation and marketing teams to translate scientific insights and promote internal knowledge to consumers and to help create relevant claims and demos.
  • Contribute to roadmaps development for strategic topics/ projects
  • Develop and optimize methodology / device to address critical needs
  • Develop new clinical / instrumental methodology for efficacy evaluation. Leverage internal and external capability to create new way of clinical evaluation for high efficiency, digitalization and hybridization.
  • Build up and consolidate the expertise of scalp clinical science on a worldwide platform
  • Synthesize & centralize the knowledge of scalp, translate scientific knowledge to develop innovative/pioneer technical solutions.
  • Initiate and implement research project to enrich the knowledge of scalp for innovation and business communication.
  • Take the leadership to present and demonstrate strong expertise on scalp clinical science from China to global platform.
  • Serve as internal and external scalp expert and be the key influencer.

To succeed in this position, you have : 
  • Education background
  • Required professional experience
  • Mandatory technical skills and Nice to have technical skills
  • Fluent in English

You are : 
  • Master degree or above in a major of Optics, Physics, Biology, Pharmacy, medical image.
  • More than 5 years’ experience of clinical study in cosmetic or medical industry. 
  • Experience of scalp clinical study is preferred.
  • Fluent English in both verbal and written
  • Microsoft Office (Especially Excel, ppt)
  • Macro, Image analysis is a plus
  • Good presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese for internal stakeholders sharing, international clinical team discussing and congress presentation.
  • Familiar with statistical analysis, like t-test. 
  • If having strengths on one of following, is a plus: Color science, Optical, Software
